Defining Hot: Books that make Jeffe Kennedy Squirm

Defining Hot:  The Books that make Jeffe Kennedy Squirm

The books that rock my boat? I’m pretty picky, all told. They have to be smart enough to keep my attention, savvy enough to suspend my disbelief and the sex scenes need to serve the character arcs. For a good squirmy read, I need to be involved in the characters and invested in their emotional journey as well as the sexual one. I also need to feel like the characters end up in a healthy place – that they’ve grown and their sexuality is leading to self-actualization, not to dark and negative places.

So, some of my favorite erotic romances?

Anne Calhoun – really anything she writes, but I love Liberating Lacey and A Breath on Embers the best.

Del Dryden’s Theory of Attraction – emotional and smart, both.

Annika Martin’s Hunky Bank Robbers always get me steaming.

Megan Mulry’s Bound to Be… series. Erotic historical  romance? Yes please!

Anais Nin – Delta of Venus and Little Birds

Pauline Reage’s The Story of O – a classic for a reason!

Anne Rice – Exit to Eden, Belinda and the Sleeping Beauty trilogy.

Maisey Yates – loved Crazy, Stupid Sex

What about you all – what are your all-time and current favorites?

Falling Under Trilogy
Book One
Jeffe Kennedy

Genre: Erotic Romance

Book Description:

Knowing all too well the damage online trolls can inflict, game designer Emily Bartwell takes privacy seriously. Living in solitude and working remotely under a male alias gives her a sense of security. The sexy writer renting the house next door ignites desires she’d forgotten she had, and when he invites her to play games of a very different sort, Em is ready and willing. Even if it means breaking all her own rules to abide by his.

Undercover tech reporter Fox Mullins is so close to the biggest scoop of his career: finding the elusive programmer Phoenix. An increasingly erotic adventure with his reserved but passionate new neighbor is the ideal way to heat up the chilly Pacific Northwest nights as he tracks the brilliant gamer.

At first Fox is happy to help Em explore her newly awakened kinky side, no holds barred, no strings attached. But as they push the limits of intimacy, both physical and emotional, Fox discovers he’s not the only one keeping secrets. And revealing hers may mean betraying the one woman who embodies everything he desires.
