Question of the Week: Do you, or have you ever, purchased a book solely based on it’s cover alone?
So I'm a first timer:) But I loved Reading Between the Wines' blog and I want to try out some of the memes from the 18+ blogs:) Smut Lovers unite!!
So my answer is hell yes and doesn't everyone? Covers are meant to be appealing and beautiful. Its what helps draw new readers to you, that and the amazingly awesome man-candy that usually posts with it. I have drooled over some hot covers, and some sexy ones, but I've bought other ones just because I actually fell in love with the beauty of the cover.
Half incredibly hot naked guy on the beach..no brainer.
Hot Highlander with a sword...you know hes naked under there right?
This one got my attention just because of the cover!! Its unique and the book rocked!
I remember when I first picked up Larissa Ione's book from her Demonica series? Hot guy and then I read the word demon....yeah that's a weakness of mine!!! So now I have...all of her books :)
I loved this cover. I thought it was absolutely beautiful, strictly from a artistic point of view.
I have a thing for water so this cover totally appealed to me!! It was a great read too.
I love book covers for many reasons. Even if the don't have extremely erotic poses or incredible half naked hotties on them.....but, the former will get me to pick it up if I am perusing!! LOL!!!
So, what about you? Have you ever purchased a book based on the cover alone?

Yep, covers that are hawt with helf-nekked men get my attention, but I am drawn to more than that at times. Larissa's book meet every one of my requirements for a smexy read.

Loving the blog... New Follower!!
Welcome to the hop! Covers are the first thing that grab my attention. I am digging the Last Awakening. I will have to check it out. I'm a sucker for lime green
Can never get enough of a man in a kilt =)
And Revealed has an amazing cover! Makes me want to read it, and I have no idea what its about!
Oh, Nikki! Yay, Ari's cover is my fave from the phoenix series, too! :) Thank you so much for including me in your faves. :)
Must. Buy. Highlander Ever After!
And I just love the cover for Lethal Rider too, that is def. one I will have to buy in print also.
I'm guilty on buying a book based on the man candy on the front, totally. And I've found some really awesome reads that way so I have no regrets. ;)
Welcome to the follow and thanks so much for participating!
