Review: Brianna By: Linda Andrews

Love, lies, and an ancient Egyptian curse. Brianna Grey holds the key to mankind’s destruction and someone is willing to kill for it. Having spent most of her life dying of consumption, one man’s kiss has resurrected her desire to live. For US Treasury Agent, Duncan Stuart, love means death. He works alone, lives alone and plans to die alone until he meets Brianna again. Under the harsh Egyptian sun, Duncan will break all his rules to save her but will it be enough to overcome the secrets that could get them both killed?
My Review:

I thoroughly enjoyed this read!  I know that this is book three but I had absolutely no problem following along with the story.  This book is chalked full of action and doesn't slow down til the end!  There are no slow points or drags in this tale, and it has some lovable and memorable characters inside.

Brianna had been sick, to the point where she had been measured for her own coffin.  Consumption had taken a vibrant and intelligent woman and reduced her to almost nothing.  Amazing as it may seem, Brianna was able to recover and cheat death of another victim. Even though she had a little help.  Brianna also possesses gifts and is able to glen knowledge from objects by touch.  With the help of her best friend and a not so pretty kitty, Brianna must bury a necklace before it comes into the wrong hands.  But there is one man whose touch that Brianna longs for.

Duncan loves women, all women.  But there is one woman whose simple kiss has burned in his memory since the day it happened.  Dragged in by Brianna's father to track her down, Duncan will stop at nothing until he finds her.  But finding her is just the beginning of the incredible journey that proceeds.  And that memory of a kiss?  Really pales in comparison to what happens next!

I adored Brianna!  She was crafty, quick witted and when paired with Esme there were no limits to what they couldn't get away with!!  She was definitely a lovable and engaging character.  My only regret is that I didn't catch this series right away!  I can't wait to go back and read about the rest of the Grey women.  I still think Brianna will be my fav!!  Excellent read!!
