Giveaway and Guest post with author Calinda B. and The Wicked Series

Hello and Welcome to this stop on Calinda's Tour!!  I am so happy to introduce you to her Wicked Series!  Calinda has interviewed one of her characters in the series.  She wanted to share the meeting with you here today:

I’d like to share a recent interview with Cameron Delaney Tyson, one of the main characters from The Wicked Series. Cam is a 6’1” blond-haired hunk of a man who loves to adventure outdoors. An adrenaline junkie, he lives for the thrill of dangling from a rock wall, performing acrobatics in his kayak rushing down a raging river, or diving in the deep. Right now he’s sitting across from me, wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt that make his blue eyes stand out. His blond hair is hanging in a sweep over his forehead. He’s leaning over his thighs with his hands clasped, expectant. The guy radiates sexuality and looks good enough to eat. Yum. Let’s find out more about him:

Calinda B (CB): If you had a free day with no responsibilities and your only mission was to enjoy yourself, what would you do?

Cam: Hell, that would be easy. I’d go on an outdoor adventure. I’ve been meaning to try out a difficult ascent on a wall up in Canada. Wait, no, I’d engage with my girl in or out of bed. Hmmm. (scratches chin thoughtfully) I’ve got it! Chér and I would go climbing and then, later…(he adjusts his crotch). Never mind. Next question?

CB: What impression do you make on people when they first meet you? How about after they've known you for a while?

Cam:  How the hell should I know? (shakes head) Do you want to know if I provoke warm fuzzies in people?  Let me think. Since this whole star dreamling business happened, I guess women get all turned on around me but I don’t care. I’m Chérie’s guy and Chérie’s alone. And guys kind of feel threatened by me. Whatever. I’m just trying to keep on doing my thing here. I’m trying to promote non-violence by working with screwed up teens, like I used to be.

CB: What are you most proud of about your life? And this is on a personal level.

Cam:  That’s easy. Growing up with abuse, I was a real head case there for a while. I finally cleaned up my act and became man enough to be with Chérie. She’s a woman of worth and I cherish her. I had to get straight in the head to be with her. She deserves the best. I guess I’m also proud of the fact that I figured out how to master this here star dreamling. (Cam nods towards a space next to him, reaches out and then quickly pulls back his hand. Three deep, green glowing scratches appear on his hand) Fuck! You can’t see him can you? He just swiped me good. Again… Goddamned cat! What’s your next question?

CB: What are you most ashamed of in your life? Again, this is on a personal level.

Cam:  I really don’t want to answer that but I will tell you this - I fucked up with Chérie, big time. I’d rather not get into the details. You already wrote about it so your readers can just read it. I don’t like re-living it.

CB. Tell me about your best friend. What do they like about you?

Cam:  I’ve got a couple – Manoko Wakira-Williams and his brother Kai Williams. I don’t know what they like about me but what I like about them is this. Manoko looks like the scariest dude you ever met. His face is covered with Mako – Maori tattoos from his ancestry. But the guy can cook like a world class chef and loves to have all his friends over for these amazing meals. They can last for hours. And he’s as generous a guy as you’ll ever meet! And Kai’s been my friend since high school. He and I used to be in sports together but love to kick it up and wreak havoc. He has a real calming influence on me and he says I amp things up. Between the two of us, I guess we bring excitement and peace to a room. He’s a good friend.

CB: I understand you have a hard time with Kayden, your girl’s “other half” and the Man of Mystery in the Wicked Series. What do you like best about him? And we have to wrap this up so make your answer brief, please.

Cam:  Yeah, okay. This is a complicated question, though. The cosmos dancing dude and I have apparently plagued each other throughout time. I have no memory of that, however. He does, though and he reminds me of that on any occasion that he can. He’s an arrogant prick. Oh, right, I’m supposed to tell you what I like about him. Let’s see. Okay, got it. We recently learned how to experience Chér the way the other does – he can’t be physical with Chérie – I don’t understand that but they can only exchange energy. I, on the other hand, can be as physical as I want to be and man, do I want to be. She’s so fucking hot she melts me. Anyway…we figured out a way so that I get to experience what he feels and he gets to experience what I feel. It’s mind-fucking unbelievable…excuse my language…but it’s so out of this world I don’t have words for it. As a matter of fact, I’d like to wrap this up so I can…you know…go see what Chérie and Kayden are up to right now. Are we done?

CB: Actually I have a few more questions. Can you give me a minute?

Cam:  (Standing up. I notice he quickly picks up his jacket and holds it in front of his crotch.) Nope. No can do. I’ve got someone, er, something I’ve got to attend to right now. Later…

And where are all these bewilderingly vivid dreams coming from with the mysterious guy as the main attraction? Chérie wants answers. She finds these answers and more as she faces her past, and comes face to face with a future that is more remarkable than she ever dreamed possible.

Cameron Delaney Tyson’s just an ordinary guy, living an ordinary life, trying to sort out his issues along the way — or that’s what he keeps trying to tell himself, that is. He doesn’t believe in the supernatural, thinks dreams are just daily recycling, and lives in the here and now. Meanwhile, a vicious star dreamling from another galaxy is tracking him, he’s trying to prove himself to the woman of his heart and soul and an ex-playmate is stalking him through sex magic and nightmares. What’s an ordinary guy going to do?

Kai Williams hears voices…wicked whisperings that threaten his sanity…his life and livelihood…and his ability to love. When the whispering begins to destroy all that he cherishes, he does what any red-blooded guy would do: he goes deep into the darkness, deep into the sea that cherishes and nourishes his soul. The Fun Part: Calinda B was told early on that she should be a writer. She heard frequent praise for her writing, as well as her sense of humor. Scoffing at such admonitions and praise, she went on to pursue her life of adventure, chock full of the things that make up a well-rounded adventurous life: music (yup, she was a singer in a rock and roll band), dance (even performed hip hop in Russia), rock climbing (ever hung from a rock wall a few stories up?
