And thank you for kick starting the book tour for Men of the Cave, by joining the discussions. I want to thank BTS tours for having an amazing staff. Now to answer your questions.
Meagan: As a child, I struggled in reading. It wasn’t until 5th grade that I picked up a Nancy Drew book and the mystery/ suspense hooked me in. One day I decided I could do this and wrote my first story in fifth grade. I haven’t stopped since.
BLHmistress & Filia Oktarina: If I could write with anyone it would be Joss Whedon. Favorite authors Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman.
Lavendersbluegreen: Hmmm…I don’t know if I have favorite songs per say. I strictly choose my music based on my mood. So my favorites can change by the hour. Here are a few I can throw out there.
Oasis – Wonder Wall, Cake- Comfort Eagle, Darkness-I believe in a thing called love, Savage Garden- I knew I loved you, One Direction- What makes you beautiful, Fat Boy Slim- Weapon of Choice, Chris de Burgh- Lady in Red, Mandy Moore- Only Hope

Lisa Cox: superpowers and immortality, I enjoy the concepts of both. It’s fun to have your characters do the impossible.
Kah Cherub: Yes, Men of the Cave is a trilogy. Jar of Pandora the second book comes out this Fall. The idea came about in an unorthodox way. I developed my characters and their personalities before I even had a storyline to put them in. Once I started writing, with a loose idea of what I wanted as the end result, the story unraveled itself.
Heather: I can give you some background into Dion and his brothers, but the answers as to why they were cast to sleep in that cave and given immortality is revealed in the second book, Jar of Pandora. Dion and his brothers are based off the real legend of the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus.
Bboo04: I’m embarrassed to admit I will not read a book more than once. I’m not one of those that can read a story over and over. The last time and the only time I have ever done this is when I was in sixth grade with a book called The Juniper Game.
Antoniette: To be honest I had recently finished the Twilight series and the first Percy Jackson and thought what if I wrote a love story with a real twist to the Greek characters. I created my heroine, Kasey, then found the legend of the Seven Sleepers, and finally figured out a way to incorporate the Greek Myths.

It's my pleasure Rachel thanks for entering. I can associate with the root of this question. At first I kept it a secret and wouldn't let anyone know what I was working on, big mistake. Tell everyone, promote, talk, meet other authors, network, network, network. Even if you are not finished with the manuscript.
If you could go back and had a chance to do a do-over, what would it be and why? Would you continue being an author?

Romance Reader Enthusiast: If I could go back and re-do any mistake in my life I wouldn’t change a thing. Every fault I have made has helped me be who I am and paved the path I’m destined to take. If those mistakes were not made then who knows what my life would entail. Some have asked me why I didn’t start this process sooner, like right after college. My answer is simple, I wasn’t ready. I needed to experience the life I have thus far to be able to maturely and mentally write this series. Would I still be a writer? Absolutely, I can’t think of anything better.
April: No none are based on people I know personally. I like my characters to be their own unique person. Even though they do not exist, I treat them as if they do. I do incorporate little traits or corks into their lives from my own. For instance, Dion’s messiness is totally me, and Kasey’s fear of flying, I know that feeling intimately. When I was creating the seven brothers I did ask myself, "What would I want seven hot brothers to be like?" Well, you can see what I came up with.
Sorry I forgot the second part of April's question. My advice to first time writer's is join a writer's group. Critique and get critiqued it's the only way you will ever learn. Talk to other authors. And most importantly be fearless.

Patsy: No, not really. If I get blocked I walk away from the writing for a few days and pick up a book. Any book, I just start to read all the time. I would say the words in music influence more than anything else would.

Marybelle: There will be three books. 1. Men of the Cave 2. Jar of Pandora 3. Symbol of Hope
Gale: Writing was always something I enjoyed to do for fun, but I didn't pursue it professionally until a few years back.
Stephanie: I do have days where I feel overwhelmed. I call a friend or talk to some author buddies. My husband is great at calming my nerves.

desitheblonde: I am not sure what you mean about trading cards? Are they like the baseball trading cards. As of right now I'm not sure, but could be sometime in the furture. Depends on marketing.
maly: I walk away when I have writer's block. Which coincidently I have right now. I'm writing the third book and have been dragging my feet on writing the next scene. So, I pick up a book or a couple of books and read. When I'm ready to return to it I'll know.

Have you ever had your own adventure (spelunking)in a
cave and what got you interested in writing about a cave?
divavixenqueen: No I am terribly afraid of heights. The cave isn't really a major part of the storyline. It falls back on the history behind the Men of the Cave. The story of these men is an old Catholic/Muslim legend called the Seven Sleepers. You can read more on them on July 27th at Read2Review on the tour schedule.
