Happy Friday my lovelies!!   I have captured a new author to torture....err interview...and I have dragged her down here and put her on the rack...Let's see how see does!!

Hello and Welcome to My Dungeon!  I’m so happy to have you here visiting and sharing your newest work.  Don’t mind the noise from the prison… err guests, they get noisy during their…treatments..lol. Let me clear a spot so you can have a seat.  Would you like some refreshments before you get started?

Tell us a little bit about your book.

KR: This is the official bio for Mating Instinct and describes it perfectly:

Surviving for centuries, powerful lupine shifter Jayce Kazan managed to stay away from humans until he met Kat Saburova and was consumed by the need to protect her. But while Jayce shared his passion with the human seer, he refused to make her his bondmate—a refusal that caused the end of their relationship. 

A year later, an attack that left Kat near death has resulted in another lupine shifter turning her. Furious that he wasn’t the one to save her, Jayce is determined to show Kat that he is the one she should rely on. But the newly turned shifter is still traumatized and worried that she’ll hurt those she loves, unless she can learn to control her inner wolf. 

And as Jayce struggles to protect Kat from her own worst instincts and convince her to rekindle their love, the extremists who almost killed her are looking to finish the job… 

What first sparked the series idea?

KR: It was no one thing; I’m just obsessed with sexy shifters and paranormal romance! I had a very small scene idea (the beginning of Alpha Instinct) and it morphed into a series, totally taking me by surprise.

Who is the character that in your opinion everyone is going to fall in love with?

KR: Well, Vivian for sure. She’s an adorable ten-year-old orphaned jaguar cub with a lot of attitude. It’s hard not to love her.

I have to ask, what are the hardest scenes for you to write?

KR: It really just depends on where I am in the book or if I’m struggling with my characters. Sometimes it can be challenging to make sure all the appropriate emotion is coming through the pages because while I know what my characters are thinking/feeling, I need to make sure the reader does too.

How would you rate the sex scenes throughout the series?

KR: They’re pretty hot! Not on the erotic scale considering the length of the books, but they’re intense and emotional and yes, graphic. I don’t hold back in those scenes.

Are there any of these in your books?  (Hands one of the toy boxes on the right which is filled with sex toys, whips, body creams, lotions, lubes…and whatever else you can imagine )

KR: Ha, no! Not in this series. Some of my books have light bondage, but my heroes and heroines are usually in the beginning stages of their relationship so toys aren’t really their thing.

Do you see yourself writing anymore stories in this series or a spin-off?

KR: I’m contracted for two more stories and one novella. I actually only have to write the last, but who knows what the future holds. That’s sorta up to my publisher if they want to continue the series or not ;)

Are any of your characters reflective of you?

KR: Definitely! Esperanze is one of the quieter, bookish heroines (from Lover’s Instinct, a novella in the Moon Shifter series) who I relate to the most. I love my kick ass female leads but I’m pretty quiet in person.

Tell us about some up and coming books.

KR: In May, Heart of the Jaguar, a hot novella from Nocturne Cravings will be releasing. It features a jaguar shifter-wolf shifter pairing and is full of sexual tension. In October the first book in my new romantic suspense series from NAL is coming out. I don’t think I have the go-ahead to release series name, etc. yet so I’ll just say it’s full of action and romance! And I’ve also got a few books in my Red Stone Security series planned to release later this year.
