Giveaway with Sci-Fi with Sizzle!!! Interview with out hot hot hot Sci-Fi Authors!!

I love my sci-fi hot!   And these ladies are guaranteed to satisfy!  I had the chance to ask them about their favorite book quotes and why they loved them....this is what they had to say:
Pick your 2 favorite quotes from the book and explain why you love them.
“Do not—when we have mated, when we are like this—do not call me Alpha. Or Commander.”
Dak is one of five ruling Alpha Commanders of his planet. Powerful, but alone. Since he became Alpha, no one calls him by his given name. They are not allowed to; it would be punishable by flogging. This quote is drawn from a scene in which he has mated with a breeder female he had purchased to produce a son for him. The mating goes better than he expected, but he is left wanting something that he does not understand. In this quote, he is reveals his loneliness and his yearning for connection.
“Coupling can cause death?” She scanned his face for signs of waning vigor.
This follows another sex scene, after which Dak jokingly gasps that the pleasure had been so intense he feared it might kill him. I like this quote for two reasons. First stands as an example of heroine Omra’s innocence. Despite the fact that she has been violated by her culture (and men) she retains her wide-eyed innocence. Secondly, in the context of the entire scene, it provides a spot of levity within a dystopian tale.
“I’m leaving you temporarily,” Tolui clarified. “You’re mine, Lea. If you try to escape me, I’ll hunt you down to the ends of the universe and bring you back.”
“You’d bring me back here?” Her face softened. “To our home?”
“Chamele 4 is not our home.” Frustrated, he swept his hands over his hair, brushing the strands back.
“It’s my home,” Lea muttered.
This is a running argument between Tolui and Lea. She views Chamele 4, the harshest planet in the system, as her home. He wants the best for her and for his clone brothers.
“Did my offspring’s offspring offend you, my lady?” Eight matched her strides. “He often speaks before he thinks.”
“We don’t know how that genetic defect happened,” Six added dryly. “It is a scientific mystery.”
Eight glared at his friend.
The exchanges between Six and Eight, two of Tolui’s top clones, make me laugh.
A.M. Griffin:
I have a few one liners that crack me up, no matter how many times I have read them. I like the scene where JB is talking about how Jess is dressed. Since escaping from the brothel Jess has it in her head that if she looks like a man, hard and unapproachable, then aliens will leave her alone. We’re now set about 2 years since her escape and she still hasn’t changed her thinking much.
It didn’t matter that he teased her about her looks. Hell, everyone did. She wasn’t dainty like other women, nor did she want to be. The only reason she had survived what she had been through was because she was unbreakable.
“When aliens look at me, I want them to see someone strong.”
“Well if you ask me, the look you're projecting is ‘Penis Repellant’.”
She narrowed her eyes. “Don’t make me fuck you up right here in the transport bay,” she growled.
The other scene is where Jess is intrigued by Rasha’s jango, which is a long sword-like weapon. Without thinking too much of it, she reaches out and tries to touch it. Rasha, being the warrior that he is, moves it out of reach.
She pulled her hand back in record speed. “I wasn’t trying to take it. I wanted to feel it.”
He lowered his weapon in front of her.
She flicked her hand out nonchalantly. “Never mind. You're acting like it’s been kissed by Jesus or something.”
“Forget about it. It’s precious, I get it.”
Loyal. Passionate. Fun.
Dizzy has just gotten her first look at the tattoos decorating Venom's right side—tattoos that mark every single confirmed kill he's made in battle as a sniper. She sees that they're the chink in his emotional armor and wants him to know that she understands that he isn't a cold-blooded killer but a brave soldier who followed orders to defend his people and save his friends.
Searching for the right words, she swept her palm over the markings on his hard biceps. “This is your past, Venom.” Her hand moved to his left arm where the skin remained pristine. “This is your future. That’s all that matters to me.”
He swallowed hard, his throat visibly moving, before taking her hand and dragging it down to the space above his heart. “You are my future. This is our future.”
My second favorite quote is probably this one. Venom has very simple desires. He simply wants a woman to love and protect and a family. Thinking of the wife he would earn was seriously the only thing that kept him going through the worst battles so he views Dizzy's love, support and acceptance as a real gift.
She leaned forward and captured his mouth in a tender kiss. “I’ll be here waiting for you.”
As Venom backed away and left the office, he wondered if Dizzy would ever comprehend how much those six simple words meant to him.

Grabbed, Book Three
To escape her father's debt to a loan shark, Dizzy seeks refuge in the upcoming Grab. She’d rather belong to one of those terrifying sky warriors from the battleship Valiant than to the sleazy criminal who wants her as his plaything.
The years of constant war haven’t been kind to highly decorated sniper Venom. Only the promise of earning a wife kept him going through deadly battles. Catching and collaring Dizzy fills him with incredible hope. Finally he has a woman of his own, a mate to love—and bind and adorn with his ropes.
After a brazen Splinter attack, the Shadow Force uncovers secrets about Dizzy’s late mother that entangle her in a web of deceit. To save Venom, her father and an operative named Terror, Dizzy digs deep and risks it all.
Venom refuses to stand idly by while Dizzy’s haunted past threatens the future they’re trying to build. He finally has a reason for living—and he’s not giving her up.

Loving Dangerously, Book Three
Jess hates aliens. After the invasion that destroyed Earth, the extraterrestrial bastards sold her to a brothel as a sex slave. She may have escaped but the old memories and fears still linger in the dark corners of her mind. Supposedly Sonis is just the place for her—somewhere safe, where she can heal and start fresh. She’s almost hopeful…until she meets Rasha, her new boss.
Rasha, captain of the Sonis Royal Guard, is a warrior through and through. He’s huge, sinfully sexy and could have any woman on Sonis—but the woman he wants is Jess. He’s very much an alien and Jess knows she should hate him or at least be wary, but whenever he’s around, she loses control. She tells herself it’s only sex—amazing, mind-blowing sex like nothing else she’s ever experienced—but there’s something about Rasha that shakes her soul. The feel of his skin against hers, the look in his eyes as he touches her—they make her want to believe it’s possible to find love and begin again.

I love the sence of adventure and the importance of missions.

I'm new to alien themed books but the few that I've read I really enjoyed. Unlike vampires and werewolves, there's a whole universe out that that we don't know about. For all we know, this could actually happen.

That's what I love best about writing sci-fi too. If I can dream it up and find a way to make it plausible, it's going in the book! :)
