Author Information

AJ grew up in a small southern town in Missouri where she learned a lot about the need for community as well as what it meant  to work hard as she and her family lived  on several acres outside of the city limits. Currently AJ lives in Kansas City Missouri with her husband and 2 small children and a small dog.
AJ's first series is the Bounty for Hire Series Bounty for Hunter is the first book followed by Bounty’s End the second installment.  Books 3 and 4 should be published by the end of 2013. Currently she is working on two other works in progress.

AJ loves learning about new things, playing games with her family and listening to music. She loves romantic movies as well as science fiction.  Science Fiction and fantasy movies are probably her favorite as they allow the mind to expand without boundaries.

At given time she can be found reading to her kids every day, instilling in them the importance of a good story. With that she can also be found in front of her computer typing away.

Excerpt

When Thomas heard the shots ring out he did not hesitate to charge toward the gunfire. It was built into him just as it was built into Jefferson and Alek. They all knew Keylee was out in the front, but it wouldn’t have mattered if the place were empty, because the very idea that there was danger sent them into action
While the cover is smoking hot, I strongly suggest starting with book one.  There is a back story in book 1 that is needed to make book 2 flow. The story line was interesting one, but I am a big details girl.  The book left me with a bunch of questions, maybe that will be answered in book 3?  It was a quick read and I liked the knowing that seemed to pass between two people when they were meant to be.  That was a nice touch.  I would definitely give this author another shot.
