My Review:

Even though there are 2 stories in this book, my review is just for Kait Ballenger's Shadow Hunter.  If ever there was a tortured soul, Kait definitely nailed it with her creation of Damon Brock.  Haunted, a loner, tough, not quite human, alpha, and 100 percent yummy, Damon fits all my requirements for instant love.  In this series, the vampires are the bad guys.  I must say its actually refreshing to have the super-human vampire hunters as the hero.  We follow Damon on hit quest to avenge his partner's death.  The situation gets complicated when his little sister turns up in the mix.  Did I say complicated?  I meant hot :)  Damon forgets all the reasons about its better to be alone and gives in to the temptation that is Tiffany.  But he is harboring a few secrets that can turn her against him forever.  Will these newly formed feeling survive the truth?

This was a great intro into Kait's world an I look forward to reading the rest of the series.  Tiffany was a self-assured, kick-ass kind of female, who didn't need Damon.  It ends on a horrible cliffhanger...I literally almost threw my computer.  That is the only peek you get!  It was a really good read and I look forward to more from the author!!

Ahh I hated the cliffhanger on this one! I'm sad the vampires are evil though. They're and will always be my favorite paranormal creatures! But I still enjoyed the series and even got book 1 waiting to be read!
