Run, little witch… AMELIE LAURENT is on her way to the top of the jewelry designing world with no time for men. Her orderly life is about to come undone when playboy and jewelry tycoon ROMAN CARDIFF steals her away on assignment to a remote English estate. Roman wants Amelie all to himself but St. Clair Manor’s resident ghost has been waiting for her much longer than he has. Run home… An unseen gunman takes a shot at Roman and he blames a business rival. But Amelie and Roman are to blame, for falling in love 200 years before in a time neither of them remember. From the heartbreak of pre-Revolutionary France to modern day corporate wars, Amelie and Roman uncover a history of blood jewels, lust and demons. Good witch, bad witch, you must decide… When Amelie discovers her inner witch she learns the real reason she was summoned to St. Clair Manor. Il Dragone will kill to get her back. Amelie will kill if they do.
The reasons why I loved this book....please allow me to count the ways. First, it had a little of everything! You had your classic contemporary scenes, your paranormal scenes, your historical scenes, mystery, intrigue, and HOT HOT sex scenes. This book was literally a five course meal that left you oh sooo satisfied when you finished the book. Once you open it, be prepared to sit down and read it straight through. You will NOT be able to put this book down once you start begin reading it.
We start out with an unusual occupation which introduces us to our main characters. Amelie is a jewelry designer, one of the best in her field. She draws the attention of Roman, who happens to be big in the industry because he believes she is working for his arch-nemesis and stealing his designs. Seems like a pretty simply plot? But this is only the first layer...lol.
Amelie has dreamed of Roman for years and is shocked when she is contracted for a job for him. She never realized until then WHO her mystery lover was until she meets Roman face-to-face. The heat and chemistry basically leap off of the pages. Roman wants her with a fierceness, and used to getting what he wants her figures it's just a matter of time. He doesn't realize in the beginning that this will be a seduction of the heart.
The plot thickens when our soon-to-be lovers land in the place where they will be working. Roman intends to unmask her as a thief, Amelie intends to keep this professional and Roman at arms links, and our resident ghost, who has been waiting a LONG time for Amelie has quite another plan. Murder attempts on Roman escalate and the past comes to light almost too late.
This book is full of twists and turns that will leave you breathless and begging for more. The complicated plot draws you in and refuses to release you until the story is told. It is an incredible journey of two souls that were always meant for each other, but never given the chance at a life together. It has just as many thigh-clinching moments, as it does heart-wrenching. I loved the journey and was so sad that it was over...or is it?
Danita is giving one lucky commenter a five dollar Amazon card!! I strongly suggest you buy this book! It is an incredible investment!!

I love those kind Of relationships
Aren't those relationships just the best?
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for your lovely review, Nikki!
For me, it always depends on the story. A love/hate relationship doesn't always guarantee I will like the book.
I think it depends on the reason for the hate. In a Hatfields and McCoy situation it is tres romantique. If you ran over their dog, that's just unforgivable.
You are so right Lisa. :) and these two definitely have a serious history to work through!
Yes, those Hatfields and McCoys were devious. Revenge is only one of the issues Roman and Amelie have to deal with. :)
It's spicy for me. lisagk@yahoo
When a love / hate relationship is written well it can be great fun with sparks that light up the imagination. However, it can be tiresome if not done well or overdone. Looks to me like Amelie and Roman have some fun times ahead ;)
I think it does spice things up. I like a story sometimes that does not have the sweet romance but there's more, including the love/hate one.
Yes Lisa, a little spice with your paranormal. :) Enjoy!
Denise, Amelie and Roman will have fun working on their various 'concerns.' :)
I agree, Marissa - you definitely need your conflicts, and sweet resolutions don't hurt either. :)
Love/Hate relationships are some of my favorites! They have some of the best chemistry and amazing tension.
I agree, Shelly! Come along for the ride. :)
Wow, Danita! This was a terrific review on today's post! It has convinced me to read your story about Amelie and Roman. It's odd that I haven't heard of you before now, and I think I've been missing something. :-) But that was in the past and now is now. I'm glad I was introduced to you on this blog today. jdh2690@gmail.com
Thanks Janice! I'm still kind of a new author - this is only my second novel. I am so glad I've captured your attention. :)Enjoy Love Entwined!
HAte and love are both strong emotions. I like it when they see the good in each other.
Fun to sit back & watch the sparks fly in a love/hate relationship.
Yes, Debby, raw emotion does tend to bring out the worst - and best - in us! Thanks for stopping by. :)
Sparks are definitely flying in Love Entwined! Thanks Mary. :)
Oooo I NEED this book!
I'm pessimistic about love/hate relationships.
A love/hate relationship has the effect of bring out the best and worst in people. Thanks for the chance to win.I can't wait to read this book.
Hi Brenda! Roman and Amelie are waiting for you. :)
Hi dv8, I know what you mean. Love/hate relationships can be difficult. That's why it's important for the characters to have real, human qualities, which make them more believable. :)
Great review! I need to grab a copy of that. Thanks!
Hi DGarson, thanks for stopping by!
