You've got me :) If I had to choose between the two, I'm sorry but Damien is my first choice. I have a thing for tortured unstable hotties, and well Damien is all that and more. But what about you? Who is your favorite vampire heart throb? If you had asked me last year it would have been Eric hands down, but something about him is off this season and Alcide has just completely stolen my attention. Here with us today to talk about her collection of yummy vamps is Tracey Sinclair. Take it away Trace:
My favourite vampires
If you’re looking for a sexy hero, you
can’t beat a vampire – so who are my personal faves? Some of the below might be
obvious, some you might never have heard of, but all are an interesting take on
the age old myth. Did I include yours?
Eric – yes, in the Eric/Bill True Blood dilemma, my choice is always the
lanky Viking, even when he has lost his memory and starts wearing questionable
clothes. There’s just something about that combination of bad boy coolness with
occasional puppy dog eyes that makes me swoon.
Damon
Salvatore – again, everyone loves a bad boy, and
despite his love of Eleanor damping down some of his more murderous tendencies,
Damon has wrecked his fair share of carnage. But hey, that’s OK, deep down he’s
a good guy. OK, it’s really deep
down, but still…
Joe
Pitt – Charlie Huston’s Joe Pitt books are an
utterly fresh take on the genre, blending pitch-black noir with horror to
create a series of no-holds-barred books. Pitt isn’t a louche, sexy vampire –
he’s a street kid who used to sell sexual favours for money, and by the end of
the series he’s sustained so much damage he isn’t exactly a pretty sight – but
like the best hard-boiled heroes he has a romantic streak a mile wide and does
it all for a girl. If you’re not a little in love with him at the end, you have
no heart.
Thomas
Wraith – a ‘White Court’ vampire in Jim Butcher’s
Harry Dresden novels, Thomas is an interesting take on the myth, feeding not
off blood but off sexual energy – he can literally seduce you to death. But
what makes him interesting – and tragic – is that to White Court vampires true
love is an anathema: so Thomas can never feed off the one woman he truly cares
for, and he survives on dribs and drabs of energy without ever letting himself
really go. Butcher is such a great writer that you really feel for Thomas’
dilemma, even as you ponder whether being drained of all your life force would
be too high a price to pay for an encounter with such a seductive creature…
David
– The 1980s film The Lost Boys paved the way for the modern vampire explosion,
taking the genre away from Victorian drawing rooms and into modern America, and
though you may laugh at the 80s fashions, the film stands up well today. Kiefer
Sutherland’s bleach haired David – a precursor to Buffy’s Spike – is cool,
seductive and mysterious. When he asks Jason Patric’s character ‘How far are
you willing to go, Michael?’ most of the audience would be happy to go all the
way…
Spike
and Angel – of course, you can’t talk vampires
without talking Buffy and these two remain some of fangdom’s most memorable
creations, not least because their antagonism was often laugh out loud
hilarious. Who can forget Spike narrating, in mocking faux-Angel speak, the
opening scene of episode 3 of the spin off show? “Helping those in need is my job, and working up a load of sexual
tension and prancing away like a magnificent poof is truly thanks enough!”
Priceless. If only he’d been around to narrate Twilight…

Hmmm, don't really have a favorite, but if I go by looks, it would be Angel.

Wow, out of all the vampire books I have read it is hard to choose a favorite but at the same time I think what adds to my favorite list. If they become a reality TV Show then they become more real like so I would have to say Eric or Bill from True Blood Series in todays time. There is just something that makes the story more believeable seeing them on HBO. But I do love other vampires like Ann Rice's Interview with the Vampire Tom Cruise playing Lestat and Brad Pitt playing Louis, I mean after those two fine looking men playing those parts, it is hard to find anyone else more sexier - LOL - these two still remain my favorites.

Viper from Guardians of Eternity Series!!
Damon from the Vampire Diaries tv series and Eric Northman from True Blood.
Who is my Favorite vampire?
That would definitely be Alexander Skarsgård who is soooo HOT as "Eric Northman" on “True Blood.” Mmmmm He has such a Darkly Sinful Persona & an Impressive Physique that is soooo Sexy on this Erotically Dominant Alpha Viking Vampire; who is also Playfully Naughty with a twist of Evil that can make your Panties disappear with His Sensually Supernatural Touch!! ;) Oh Yeah, Bite Eric!! ;) LOL I know, I’m sooooo Bad!!!! WoooHooo!!!!
I would very much appreciate the opportunity to be considered in your very generous giveaway of a PDF copy of Tracey Sinclair’s "Dark Dates". Thank You.

Eric Northman. Once I saw Alex was playing him, he jumped to the top of my list.
Sebastian Wroth from Kresley Coles IAD series .
Vlad from Jeaniene Frost's new series.
What a hard choice! It'd have to be between Declan Chase, Sebastian Wroth, Conrad Wroth, from Kresley Cole's IAD. Tobias Strahan and Colin Foxe from Susan Sizemore's Primes.

my favorite vampire is still the original Dracula. However i prefer the 1979 film version starring Frank Langela. It was the first "horror" movie i had seen and he was so good looking and had such charisma. i was hooked on vamps from then on. LOL!
