Savage Tour!!

Hello and Welcome to this stop on the tour!!  Willow is giving away some great prizes so make sure you fill out the rafflecopter at the bottom!!!  Let's take a look at the book:

The year is 1983. Christian is 22 years old when he leaves his home in Denmark to spend a year in Florida with a very wealthy family and go to med-school. A joyful night out with friends is shattered by an encounter with a savage predator that changes his life forever. Soon he faces challenges he had never expected. A supernatural gift he has no idea how to embrace. A haunting family in the house next door. A spirit-filled girl who seems to carry all the answers. An ancient secret hidden in the swamps of Florida. One life never the same. One love that becomes an obsession. Two destinies that will be forever entangled.

Savage is a paranormal romance with some language, violence, and sexual situations recommended for ages sixteen and up. It is the first in a family saga that covers three decades of the character's lives. The sequel is expected to be published in September 2012.

My Review:

This was a completely new type of read for me and I must say I enjoyed it!   Even though it reads like a typical YA (a little slow) the content truly isn't YA material.  There is a lot of character building and description that may not appeal to you, but I truly enjoy that part.  I like details so this was definitely a book for me!  Most of the action is towards the end of the book, and the book is paced well enough to make you want to get there without putting it down.  It is uniquely written as it is an older Christian that is narrating the story. Rest assured, you will not particularly care for the younger version of Christian, and most of the paranormal content is towards the end.  All and All, I would definitely read another book by this author and will assuredly read the rest of the series!!   Great Read!!

Just fill out the rafflecopter for your chance to win your own copy!!  Good Luck!!

Invisibility

immortality with the whole not ageing thing of course, be cool to be able to heal fast (that comes with my version of it, lol) Invisibility would be cool as another commented, lol. Any paranormal power would be cool, but would rather NOT get the whole visions thing, as I would hate trying to go around and convince people stuff, to save them. lol.

I agree that any power would pretty much be awesome except for visions. When I think of having that power I think of Nix from the IAD series and how I would probably go insane.

Hmmm... gosh almost anything would be both cool and challenging.... The shifter thing would be interesting as would any kind of magical ability.

I'd love to be able to manipulate time.

Cool book, I would love teleportation because I am so tired of the long travel times to get anywhere. sdylion(at)gmail(dot)com
