Giveaway and Guest Post of Bayou Heat by Alexandra Ivy & Laura Wright

Good Morning CEWTNK!!  I have a special treat for you today!  I have captured two really cool chicas for you own personal entertainment and forced them to tell you all about their hot new puma shifter series!!  It sounds yummy AND hot!  So let's take a peek at them on :

Hello and Welcome to The Dungeon! We’re so thrilled to be here!

I’m so happy to have you here visiting and sharing your newest work. Don’t mind the noise from the prison… err guests, they get noisy during their…treatments..lol. We’re used to it. We deal in puma shifters, after all!

Let me clear a spot so you can have a seat. Would you like some refreshments before you get started? Mmmm, Alex and I will have a couple of margaritas! Extra salt!

Tell us a little bit about your book. We are so excited about it!! BAYOU HEAT is a sexy new paranormal e-series following the Pantera, puma shifters who’s magic is dying. The series is set in mysterious New Orleans and the sensual Bayou Wildlands. Each book is novella length and there will be 2 books per download. Each story follows the other, but is written separately. Raphael and Parish are the first 2 story titles. And those boys are HOT!!

What first sparked the series idea? A phone conversation between Alex and I. One idea sparked the next then the next.. in a few days we had a world. Wine might’ve been involved.. not sure:)

Who is the character that in your opinion everyone is going to fall in love with?  Raphael. No, Parish. No, Raphael. Parish.

I have to ask, what are the hardest scenes for you to write?   Honestly, nothing. These books were an absolute dream to write. From soup to nuts!

How would you rate the sex scenes throughout the series?  Smoking hot. After all, these are puma shifters in the bayou. Sexy cats in a steamy world!

Are there any of these in your books? (Hands one of the toy boxes on the right which is filled with sex toys, whips, body creams, lotions, lubs…and whatever else you can imagineJ) Not yet. Our cats don’t play with toysJ They only play with their females. But you never know… :) We’re just getting started. Might be a kinky puma in the Wildlands.

Do you see yourself writing anymore stories in this series or a spin-off?  We have several books in the series coming out this year. Next up is Bayon and Jean-Baptiste. Both of these males are ridiculously hot!

Are any of your characters reflective of you?   I think we can say positively that these characters are completely from our imaginations and fantasies. But maybe there’s a little of us in each heroine. <sigh> Does wishing make it so?

Where can we find you for future updates?

I’m so happy you have made this a stop!! Thanks for the invite! We love your den!

Would you like a tour of the…err…levels?  :)  I can introduce you to the “guests”, if you just hand me that box back. I’m up for anything. Alex?

Let’s get you suited up:

Wine, mixed drink, or straight up? Wine. Red. 2 glasses please :)

Leather straps or chains? Leather. Always leather.

Cat-o-nine, braided leather, or chain length whip? Collar and Leash or Adornment? We have puma shifters.. maybe the Cat-o-nine??

Leather studded bodysuit or corset top?  Again, leather :)

Fishnets or garter-belt? Alex will have fishnets and I’ll have the garter-belt. We look very cute together :)

Leather pants, mini, or a long skirt slitted up both sides? Leather pants ALL THE WAY!

Lace up boots (with or without heels) or come F*** me high heels?   Heels!

Ball gag, manacles, or blindfold?  I want to blindfold Alex. <Heh heh>

The rack or the whipping post? …:)

Candle wax or clamps?  Candles.. Wax..

Blonde, red-head, Brunette, or Supernatural :)?   Supernatural, of course. I’d love to take Raphael and Parish in here with us, but I’m afraid their cats will never agree. No chains, collars, leashes or gags for a Pantera.
They’ve got to be free.
Hell, they’ve got to roar

Thanks for racking it up in the dungeon Laura!!  This book and these lovely ladies are on tour right now.  You can follow along for some more info and chances to win this HOT new series:

Now Let's take a look at the Series:

New Year. New World. New Species.
LEGEND OF THE PANTERA
Hidden in the depths of the Louisiana bayous, the Pantera, have become little more than a legend to most humans. It’s rumored that in the ancient past twin sisters, born of magic, had created a sacred land and claimed it as their own. From that land was born creatures who were neither human or animal, but a mixture of the two. Faster and stronger than humans, they have hyper acute senses, and when surrounded by the magic of the Wildlands they’re capable of shifting into pumas. It was also whispered that they possess other gifts. Telepathy, witchcraft, immortality, and the ability to produce a musk that could enthrall mere mortals. Mothers warned young girls never to roam alone near the swamps, convinced that they would be snatched by the Pantera, while young men were trained to avoid hunting anywhere near the protected Wildlands. Not that the warnings were always successful. What girl didn’t dream of being seduced by a gorgeous, mysterious stranger? And what young man didn’t want to try his skill against the most lethal predators?
As the years passed, however, the sightings of the Pantera became so rare that the rumors faded to myths. Most believed the entire species had become extinct. Sadly they weren’t entirely mistaken...

Raphael & Parish
Book #1 and #2 in the Bayou Heat Series
Coming January 7, 2013
The brilliant and dangerous diplomat of the Pantera shapeshifters, Raphael has devoted his life to discovering the key to the infertility that is threatening the extinction of his
puma race. Creating a vast network of spies worldwide, he never expected to discover that the answer might be beneath his very nose. But when Ashe, a beautiful human female, crosses his path, his most primitive instincts are stirred.
Unable to resist, he takes her to his bed, and is shocked when she becomes pregnant with his child. It’s a miracle that might prove to be the salvation of his people, but only if he can keep her safe from the mercenaries determined to kill her.
Untamed and undeniably sexy, Parish, leader of the Pantera hunters, rarely leaves the magic of the Wildlands to deal with the humans he despises. But with the prized and risky Pantera birth on the way, puma shifter, Parish must travel to New Orleans to find and bring back a human doctor. The moment he sees the lovely, talented and all too human Dr. Julia Cabot he cannot resist the wild, potent drive to make her his. Betrayed and destroyed by love, Julia will not let her heart choose her path again. But as she and Parish fight to save the life of an unborn child, a fierce and overwhelming bond develops between them, threatening her frozen heart with the secret hope and ultimate temptation of love and family.
And some more on our lovely authors:

Author of the Mark of the Vampire series, Laura Wright spent the early years of her life immersed in the worlds of singing, acting and competitive ballroom dancing. But when she started writing, she knew she’d found her true calling. Laura lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband, two children, three dogs, two frogs and two fish. She’s been thrice nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewer’s Choice Award, and loves hearing from her readers.

I'm sick and a little out of it right now, so if I'm asking something that's already been asked or answered, I apologize. My question is, what made you two decide to work together? And what are the pros and cons of working with a partner instead of by yourself?

I notice the release date is 01/07, will it also be released in ebook format? and are these three separate novellas is the trilogy three novels?
