Praise for Blood Bound

“Áine gave me even more reasons than ever to love her strong and charismatic cast of characters. Each stepped up their game in the newest book. I will be looking forward to the next installment of House Millar, which I understand will not be from Anya’s point of view. Sounds interesting. If you love a good vampire story…Blood’s Voice and Blood Bound are great choices.” — Kristin @ Better Read Than Dead

“I love the way she made all of the characters work together in one way or the other. Anya shows lots of important vampires that she is NOT one to mess with. She claims her position as Mistress in more ways than one and she does so very well. I especially liked the “letter” at the end! Definitely got me ready for book three!” — Christina  @ Intoxicated by Books

“Although it’s a book about vampires, there are some surprisingly well thought out themes that play throughout the book. I loved the way Anya’s personality has grown and she’s really progressed as a character since book 1. Some of my favorite scenes were the tender moments between Anya and Nicholas and the love story that really builds inthis book.” — Vanessa @ Boekie’s Book Reviews

“I can assure you….. this book is like the first one. A wonderfull read. Easy to get into and easy to follow book. You get to meet some new characters, but also the characters I loved from book one are back. … Awesome book!!!” — Kyanara @ Kyanara’s Mad Reviews

“This time around, I was pulled right into the story. This book starts right where the last one ended. I enjoyed reading more about Anya’s back-story and got to know some more characters and their back stories. Anya is head of her own house now and she seems to be collecting more eclectic members this time around. I recommend this book for paranormal romance fans for its sensual scenes and titillating drama.” — Heather @ Earth’s Book Nook

Excerpt:

Stopping, he spun around looking at me with a strange, hungry glint. The look in his eyes set me ablaze in that moment. I struggled to maintain my control. I’m even more dangerous to him now than I ever have been before . . .
“Declán, a ghrá, what’s gotten into you?”
He didn’t speak. He reached out, grabbing my wrists, and started pushing me back into the tree that was just behind us. Pressing me into it, he covered my mouth with his, kissing me as he let out a whimpering moan. His mouth was hungry, and his body eager. My skin felt like it was burning everywhere he touched.
His attack knocked me off centre, and I lost more than a bit of my restraint. His heat, his intoxicating and maddening scent pushing me further . . . The craving for him was so exquisite, so painful. His sapphire eyes blazed as his body arched towards me, crushing me. Lifting me, he greedily devoured my kisses, clutching me tighter. My legs wrapped around him automatically. His fingers twisted in my hair pulling me tight against his lips. Letting out a rapturous moan, he pulled his face back arching his neck to me. I pressed my lips to the moist skin of his throat, feeling the pulsing, the dance of life beckoning to me – enchanted and tormented by the sweet fragrances that encompassed his being. I allowed my teeth to graze his skin.
No, no, no. This is too dangerous. I have to stop. I pulled away from his luscious throat but he used the grip on my hair to stop me.

Review: Uncollared by Nona Raines

Submissive Mia Manetti is devastated when her first Master uncollars her just as she was hoping for a permanent relationship with him. Trying to move on, she agrees to sub for a powerful and sexy new Dom.

Chess Ryan has wanted Mia from the first moment he saw her at Club Restraint, but it was always "hands off" because she belonged to his friend Philip. Now, thanks to that friend's maneuvers, Mia is finally his. But only for a little while.

Mia finds it increasingly difficult to keep her feelings in check as she experiences erotic delights with Master Chess, sensual and sexual fantasies that she's never known before. Is she setting herself up for another heart ache?

Guilt, secrets and misplaced pride all keep Chess and Mia from being completely honest with each other. As they connect sexually and emotionally, they realize their relationship has grown too serious to be called "play". How far are they willing to go as Master and slave?

My Review:

I found this book really interesting.  You seldom read a book where a submissive is rejected or the master moves on.  The premise was interesting and even though you expect a lot of pain, the book is filled with surprising twists.  And then of course the sexy Master Chess catches her eye.  He is the elusive playboy in their world.  He never keeps a sub very long and never lacks for female company.  But what Mia doesn't know is that Master Chess has wanted her for a very long time.  Seeing her uncollared was the one chance he wouldn't pass up, even if that meant being creative in his means of pursuing her.  He definitely had that in spades.

But the past has a way of catching up with you and secrets don't stay that way for long.  Its amazing at just how much can come to light during intense moments.  But when all the cards are down, is there hope for a future?

This was a yummy read and dips into some BDSM aspects quite nicely, along with some hot sex scenes that were very tasteful.  I enjoyed it immensely and will be looking for other books.

Giveaway. Guest Post, and Review of Bodyguards (Quicksilver Codex Book 1) by Kallysten

Good Afternoon CEWTNK!!  Yes I know, I have been the negligent blogger lately because I have been ill.  Hopefully soon I will get back to bringing you great giveaways and some fabulous authors, such as today's guest Kallysten.  She writes some excellent reads, and this next book I have on here today is no exception.  We all love our heroes, but I asked Kally to step out of her box and and tell us about her most loved Villains.  This is what she had to say:

My Top 10 Sexiest Villains
(And 5 of them are vampires. Who, me, predictable?)

#10 – Rowan (Losing His Wings)
Is it cheating to put one of my own characters on the list? *grins* Rowan is a fallen angel who likes to tempt his prey with visions of lust and carnality. He can also change his form from male to female…and both his/her bodies are smokin’ hot!
#9 – Sasuke (Naruto Shippuden)
Tragic, glowering, bent on revenge, sword-wielding, often barely clothed anti-hero… who cares the
story is meant for teens? :P
#8 – Damon (The Vampire Diaries)
Is he a villain? Hard to tell at this point but he has (had) some villainous traits… and some definitely
attractive ones, too…
#7 – Magneto (X-Men First Class)
Michael Fassbender. Enough said.
#6 – Dracula
The ultimate predator…and yet a gentleman.
#5 – Captain John Hart (Torchwood)
James Marsters facing John Barrowman as his foe/friend/lover? Day-um.
#4 – Philippe Weis (In Time)
So I have a thing for Vincent Kartheiser. I might have hunted down every movie and TV show episode he’s been in – including a couple of really bad movies. In Time wasn’t the worst, and as far as I’m concerned it really helped that the movie had Kartheiser in a perfectly tailored suit…
#3 – Thomas (The Dresden Files)
Again I’m stretching the definition of villain… He certainly helps Harry whenever he can, but he does have some dark sides, and after all he IS a vampire. Who feeds on sex. And who can make a woman melt with just a touch. Mmm mmm.
Tied For #1 – Angelus and Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
As much as I love these vamps when they’re good, they’re so much more fun when they are BAD! The soul is optional, but the sex-appeal doesn’t fade away…
Yummy Villians!!   Now let's take a look at the book:

On the verge of her twentieth birthday, Vivien’s worries are those of a typical young woman: doing well in college, gaining more independence, and maybe managing to show Brad, her classmate and sometimes jogging partner, that she wouldn’t mind taking their burgeoning relationship to a different level.

Everything changes in the blink of an eye. Vivien stumbles into a knife fight, watches a man die in front of her, and soon listens, stunned, as Brad and his brother Aedan tell her a story of magic, vampires and a murderous ruler intent on killing a princess in hiding – a tale in which she is the princess and heir to a realm she didn’t know existed.

Vivien’s first instinct is to refuse to believe this incredible tale, even if it comes from a man she is attracted to. But when her self-proclaimed bodyguards use magic to take her to a different world, the edges of reality start blurring and Vivien has to figure out who she truly is..

Can you imagine living your whole life thinking you were normal, and one event changes it forever?  This is what happened to Vivien.  She had been in love with the same guy for what seemed like forever, even though she felt like he didn't notice her.  She finally gets the courage to ask him to a concert and he turns her down.   Heartbroken. she returns home to find her aunt missing and the house a wreck.  But Brad had followed her and revealed that she was not only in great danger, but also not from this realm.  That's a lot for a 19 year old to digest and Vivien did not take it very well.

I really enjoyed the story.  It was extremely well written and vividly depicted.  Vivien is very frustrating in this book because she is so resistant and afraid.   Half-way through the story you want to give her a swift kick in the butt hoping it would jar her enough to take in account the bigger picture.  Brad or Braden is completely in love with her but knows it is doomed.  She is the future queen and he is just the bodyguard.  What kind of future do they have?

My favorite character was Aedan.  He sacrificed the most in order to keep his vow.  He is moody and cold but he is also lonely and endearing.  I have a thing for tortured heroes, and he definitely fits the bill.  This book is an introduction to Vivien's new world and lays out the obstacles she will soon face.  I think this is a start of a glorious adventure.  Excellent read!!

How would you like a chance to win a copy?  Kallysten has graciously offered up not only a copy of the book, but 3 swag packs as well!!!  Just fill out the rafflecopter!!!

Review: The Protectors By Bernard Lee Deleo

Connor Bradwick and Ellie James enforce the law in one of the perennially most dangerous cities in the country: Oakland, CA. Bradwick snaps when he and James bust in on a kidnapping ring, enslaving children for pornography. He brutally executes the three kidnappers, stunning James. He sets up the scene to pass for self-defense with Ellie James cooperation. Their ruse succeeds, triggering a two cop crackdown on crime the city of Oakland’s leaders scurry to stop. Dedicated to end ‘look the other way’ crime suppression tactics, ending in destruction and death for the common people in Oakland, Bradwick and James decide it’s time to go on offense.

Connor explains it this way after they rescue the kidnapped children, “The kids made me start thinking about how I want folks to look at us. I don’t care anymore to visit someone to tell them we found the people who broke into their business or house and robbed them blind. I want them to wave at us from their house or business as we go by because we prevent the gangbangers, drug dealers and thugs from terrorizing them.”

The crime war takes on different meaning when they bust an MS-13 El Salvadoran gangster’s illegal alien processing center. Connor and Ellie run headlong into a corrupt politician on the gangster’s payroll, and the terrorists behind him. Soon, everyday crime fighting busts become a fond memory.

My Review:

I love Bernard's books.  I was hooked by the first one I picked up and this one is just as good.  We have a crime frighting team, that is introduced and explained in such a way as you find them real.  They are angry, they want justice done and not watch the criminals get slapped on the wrist and released back into society.  I think the thing I loved most about this book is the fact it points out everything that is so wrong with our justice system and the way the law bends for criminals.  It will inspire you to think.  It had a great plot and premise.  It was also a page turner.  If you enjoy action/adventure with a life lesson buried inside, then you will enjoy this book!!  I loved it!!!

Review: The Horoscope Writer by Elodie Parkes

When Dominic Reed looks out of his study window and sees Cassie, he’s not sure what to make of her at first. That’s before he sees her lovely gray eyes and pretty skin. He’s a writer and works alone, which to his sadness has become his way of life.
When he asks Cassie to have coffee with him, it’s the start of an intoxicating romance for the both of them. If only Dominic didn’t have to hide some of his writing, if only he hadn’t inherited a strange gift from his great uncle Aubrey. Cassie ignites a passion in Dominic that he has never felt and he seeks for a way to bind her to him.
Cassie is an artist and when she falls in love with Dominic she paints him a picture of his wonderful back garden where they have made love, little knowing that it will have a special effect on Dominic.
This is an erotic romance, and has graphic sex in the frequent love scenes, suitable for age 18+.

My Review:

This was a really sweet romance book filled with a bunch of yummy sex scenes.  Dominic had been lonely and unhappy for a long time, ever since the break-up with his girlfriend a few years ago.  Meeting Cassie had shocked his system in ways that he was unprepared for, but his unusual abilities made him fear that Cassie would be unwilling to accept him.  Will he lose her if she discovers his secret.

Cassie had been living with the scorn over her career choice for several years now, and was alienated from her parents.  She had also hit a dry spell in her dating career.  So when Dominic showed up where she was getting ready to rent a studio, all her hormones stood at attention.  There was no way something like that was single!!  Much to her shock he follows her out and asks her for coffee. What happens next is wickedly delightful!  Is Dominic too good to be true?  Follow these star-crossed lovers through their journey of healing and learning to love.  I would definitely give this author another try!!

Excerpts:

FROM THE INTRODUCTION BY FELICE PICANO, LAMBDA AWARD WINNER LAMBDA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMNT AWAR4D

See what I mean? Short story writing is hard.

M. Christian's new collection of singular and satisfying short stories, Filthy Boys, is subtitled "Outrageous Gay Erotica." Emphasis on "outrageous." Although each of them does deliver a more than adequate erotic charge, Christian is after bigger game here. He's writing short stories. You know, like the ones you had to read in high-school: stories about suburban Connecticut teens and hardscrabble poor white trash and adventurers desperate to light a fire to stay alive. The ones you had to discuss in class, using terms like "irony" and "thematic development" in those seconds before your forehead hit the top of your desk out of total apathy.

Take heart. Christian's stories are sexy, smart and a lot more fun.

FROM THE STORY "STROKE THE FIRE"

"Man's got a home, then that's where he sleeps. Can't, myself, see how you can stand the god-derned quiet out there in the flats," Lew had said, listening to the music of the man's voice.

The man shrugged, the tip of his cigar bobbing in the soft night. "That it be. Name's Last. Jeff Last."

Lew wiped the grime off his hands (and hopefully the fool's grin off his face) and offered his own. "Lew. Just Lew around here."

The handshake lasted a bit too long, long enough for the two men to size each other up. Lew in his Stinkhole clothes was a burly barrel of a man, all beard and round blue eyes. He looked fat from aways, but if you're ever seen him haul cornmeal or lumber you'd know that it was iron, fella, strong, strong, iron and not just insulation against Craggy's winds.

Last was long and lanky, and while the light was none too good in that narrow little ways between the public corral and Miller's Fine Feeds, you could tell that he was a beanpole: Six feet easy, in buckskin and serape. In the dark beneath his wide brimmed hat, his shaved face was carved and as Craggy as Lew's mountain home. The handshake had lasted way too long. Now, he thought, how to get this fine feller up the mountain...

"Gotta hit the trail if I'm ta make Ridgewood by dawn," Jeff had said, and Lew's heart had sunk down to his Stinkhole boots.

"Knows how it is–" he had said, starting to turn, maybe extend a hand, and an invitation for another time.

"But you is one fine figure of a man. Might temptin'–"

Lew stared, unsure of how exactly to respond.

"You think the same, Lew of the Mountain?" Jeff had said.

Even in the low light cast from the lanterns of Sal's Lew could see Jeff's fine figure, out in all it's glory there in the "street" of Stinkhole.

LONG EXCERPT

FROM THE STORY "WET"

The brush was dry so he wet it.

The strokes at first were always, for some reason, slow and precise. He knows that nothing will remain of them after it's done, but for some reason it always starts that way: bands, shades of the same color, going vertical, diagonal, horizontal. He guesses, when he does think about the act, that it is a getting acquainted with the brushes, the canvas – his medium.

Why that should be when he has painted for so very long is a mystery Doud never examined.

Dry again – silent, precise strokes now skittering and scratching across the smooth face of the canvas. Dries so quickly. He wet the brush again.

Those first strokes were a climb into the work, he supposes when he does. Painting those stripes, bands of one color – always that one color – are like the rungs of a ladder. Going up, into the act, the glow, of creativity ... of making a work.

The next movements of the brush were wild, feverish: all precise control lost in the rising swell of what was fleeting around his mind, just beyond Doud's normal vision. He knew, certainly, absolutely, that he was trying to pin it down now with the brush, the color – to make it stick and stay so he can see it clearly: see if it is pretty or ugly.

Dry again. He dipped it into his seemingly inexhaustible well and continued.

Maybe a man. Yes, perhaps that: like a stroller walking out of a fog, a shape becoming shoulders, a broad chest, legs, and what could be a waist. Then, with more movements of the brush, it grew details like leaves from a tree: The curves of a chest, the tendons in the arms, the contours of muscles and bone, the texture of smooth skin ... a face.

Dry again. Doud dipped the brush into his red-filled mouth and tried to capture the man more fully.

* * * *

The street was brilliant with a heaven of shines and reflections from a light rain. The primary neon colors burst from places like Jackson's Hole, the Ten Pin, the 87 Club, Aunt Mary's Diner hit the street, the sidewalk, the faces of the tall buildings like ... like watercolors, Doud thought, though his own medium was a lot less flowing and fluid.

The Space didn't have neon, and despite the beauty of the rain-shellacked street outside, its owner would never ever pondering lighting its very nondescript doorway with gaudy attraction. Wellington took extremely cool pride in the austerity of his gallery – going over its rubber-tiled steps, eggshell walls, industrial lighting, stainless steel display stands and single office countertop with an eye as precise and chilly as a level. Doud easily imagined him thinking the photographs, paintings, and sculptures that paid his rent a distraction from the purity of an absolutely empty room.

He hoped for a frozen second that the flash had been lighting beyond the window, out among the glimmering night street and hunched and brisk people.

Doud loved the rain and especially lighting. Like the bands of slow, precise color that started his works, he never really examined why the world being lit for a second, frozen and trapped in a blink of pure silver, fascinated him. Maybe it was the raw power of natural electricity – or maybe it was just the close comfort of being snug and warm for the evening that he associated with rain outside: lighting was the tiger prowling outside while he warmed his feet, safe and warm, inside.

But lighting doesn't come from within (unless you count inspiration): trapped with the flash, for a second, was his own face in the window glass: wide, large brown eyes, aquiline nose, brushy brows; curled black hair; deeply tanned and lined skin; large, strong mouth with hidden teeth. Some thought him Italian, others American or East Indian. A few guessed at maybe Eskimo or even Polynesian. Never guessed the truth of New York (son of New Yorkers). Never, ever, guessed his age.

The disappointment over a lighting-free night came quick, a gentle slap (because it was a simple pleasure) and he turned back to the semi-crowded gallery. There he was, a too-clean looking photographer he instantly knew was either the friend of an artist or one of them himself (newspaper shooters were usually a lot more scruffy and exotic). Doud hated to be photographed, hated being frozen in time and having his image in the hands of, and at the mercy, someone else.

"Yours?" the photographer said, his face opaqued by the complex of a flash unit, massive lens, and a matte-black camera body. Dirty blond, almost brown, tall, broad was all Doud could see.

"Those are," Doud said, nodding to the right hand wall and the five paintings that were edge-on and so just the colors of their frames. Doud didn't need to see them, an artist's privilege of many hours of work.

The camera came down and he treated Doud with his profile as he scanned the paintings: Pale, hollow cheeks; bones seemingly as thin as a bird's; wet blue eyes that, even across the mostly-empty gallery, seemed to see far too much, far too quickly; a mouth that bloomed with lips that Doud found himself instantly wanting to kiss; a nose all but invisible against the beauty of his face (which was fine, having such a profound nose, Doud disliked the same in others); and a fine and elegant body that seemed to be all chest and shoulders, a rack on which thin, pale arms and legs dangled with a refined and dignified posture. He was dressed simply elegant in black pants, a very tight turtleneck and an elegant, and probably antique, morning coat – a direct polar extreme from Doud's old sweatshirt, boots and jeans.

It was a kind of shock to see someone who sported himself so ... dapper was a word that came out of Doud's memory along with the smell of horses and raw electricity, the rumble of the "El" trains, and scratchy Al Jolson from a Gramophone. Dapper? Yes, refined and polished. Quite out of character for The Space and being an admirer of Doud's work.

"You probably get asked this a lot–" The man fixed those darting, smiling eyes on Doud and smiling pure warmth.

"An awful lot," Doud said with a practiced sigh that spoke of a joke rather than true exasperation. "Animals," he finished, answering the question.

"I saw the jar," the photographer said, indicating with a jerk of his camera the large bell jar stuffed with a cow's severed head on the floor in front of Doud's wall, "and thought as much."

"The medium is the message," Doud said with a smile. "People either look at me real funny and think about DNA testing or they think it's a trick of paint and technique."

"It is rather ... your studio must really stink."

Doud laughed, the sound coming from down deep, "Lots of windows, and I keep my stuff well-covered. Then of course I fix it real good after. Lots of shellac."

The man smiled, shifted his camera and stuck out a pale, long-boned hand, "Jona. Jona Periliak."

"Charmed," Doud said. Jona's hand was dry and very warm, almost hot. "Are you here as well, or just taking shots for a friend?"

"I'm in the backroom."

Doud remembered the photographs on his way in that evening, but since he never supervised his installations he hadn't looked beyond that initial glance. "Would you mind," Doud said, smiling his best smile and hoping he'd remembered to gargle and brush his teeth, "showing me?"

The Space had started to fill up since they'd been talking. The usual wine and cheese crowd of artists and their usual mixture of friends. They passed carefully by suits and jeans and piercings and Doc Martens and even a latex bodysuit and a full tux.

The backroom was sky blue, lit with Wellington's usual baby spots. Maybe a dozen, maybe fourteen, black and white portraits. Jona looking thoughtful with glasses and a book. Jona looking sad with gravestones in the background. Jona looking pained as blood, black as ink (and it could have been) ran down from a sliced palm. Jona excited, his bare chest slick with sweat and probably oil. Doud scanned them all, lingering long over excited and pained, giving them his examining, look – then glanced over at the title of the series: Portrait of the Artists.

Doud hated photographs: He saw them as a kind of cheat, a kind of shortcut.

"They're fine–" Doud said, using a word that also came from penny candy and hoop skirts. He didn't like photographs for lots of reasons, but Jona was very pretty, very striking in his pallor and funereal garb. Being self-portraits made it easy to lie – Jona was very fine, indeed.

"You don't like them." He didn't seem hurt at all, more like he was calling Doud on his politeness.

"I didn't say that. It's not my medium is all. Besides, I meant what I said. I like the way these are all parts of you."

"I appreciate that," Jona said, moving the camera behind him so Doud had have a nice view of his flat stomach and hard chest – at least what he could see outlined in the black turtleneck.

It had been a long time for Doud. He could barely remember the face, and couldn't, for the life of him, think of the last name of the last person he was attracted to as much as he was attracted to Jona. You'd think, he found himself thinking with surprising clarity, after all this time I'd get better at this. At least he wasn't hungry – but he did feel that other kind of desperation, the one that wanted to make his gently shaking hands reach up and stroke Jona's soft, pale cheeks and tell him how beautiful he looked. Go on, he thought next, say that you appreciate him ...

"Are you–" Doud did say, waving at the row of photographs "–going to be here long?"

"Tonight or the show?" and before Doud could respond either way, Jona quickly added, "Just a few minutes and the end of the month."

The Space had started to fill up and Doud felt himself being pulled by their body heat, their eyes. Going to an opening was rare, staying as late as he had was ever rarer ... but Jona, and Jona's beautiful attention, was priceless.

But the people –

"It's kind of getting crowded," the pale beauty said with a smile that made a warm spot on Doud's stomach and his eyes loose focus for a second.

Doud heard himself say, "Let's go outside."

To celebrate this happy day I have a newly introduced writing pair that has been on here before but has indeed captured my attention through their unique therapy!!!!  I was lucky enough to catch an interview with them and here is what they had to say for THE RACK!

Hello and Welcome to The Dungeon!  I’m so happy to have you here visiting and sharing your newest work.  Don’t mind the noise from the prison… err guests, they get noisy during their…treatments..lol. Let me clear a spot so you can have a seat.  Would you like some refreshments before you get started?

WR: Hi Nikki. I love what you’ve done with the place! Sort of a “Shriek Chic” motif. I’m fine for drinkies, but I could go for a croissant.

KS: Hey there Nikki! I do hope I can take a peek around when we’re done chatting. Never been in a dungeon like this before.

Tell us a little bit about your book.

Billionaire CEO of Blakely Incorporated, Natasha runs her corporation with an eagle eye for every detail. She’s an obsessive, compulsive, micromanaging hard-ass, consumed by the need to control every aspect of her life and her business.
But underneath that seemingly strong façade, Natasha is a swirling mess of anger, anxiety and sexual addiction. Only her therapist, Dr. Benson, knows how close she is to burning out...or exploding. He insists on a radical form of treatment – Submission Therapy – knowing that it’s her only hope.
Skeptical but intrigued, Natasha agrees to attend the first session. What she finds there is an erotically-charged environment that will forgive none of her habitual bad behavior. And a steely-eyed man who seems to read her every desire - even the ones she won’t admit to herself.
Will Natasha learn what it means to submit? Or will she allow her brittle pride to rob her of what she truly needs?

What first sparked the series idea?

WR: BDSM is not something people just fall into. At least, not if it’s their serious lifestyle choice. There are certain types of people who embrace submissive roles. And billionaire CEOs seem to fit the profile perfectly. We both pride ourselves on injecting realism into our individual stories, and that’s also true with these co-written ones. A desire to present an alternative view to a lot of what’s out there was a major part of the seed for this story.

KS: Willsin has really covered it. We like to provide a different angle on what is expected and make it as real for the reader as possible.

Who is the character that in your opinion everyone is going to fall in love with?

WR: I believe Natasha will be the one to win people over. She’s a complete bitch at the start, but she has her reasons. She’s stubborn, but quite aware of that fact. And as she gets deeper and deeper under Master Sweet’s thrall, she finds that change is not always something you need to force. It’s something you can actually embrace. Of course, I’m a dude, so I could just be reacting to the fact that she’s hawt!

KS: How can you not like Natasha? She’s got that love-to-hate her appeal. But, speaking as a woman, I wouldn’t mind being in Master Sweet’s dungeon. I’d love to learn a lesson or two from him.

I have to ask, what are the hardest scenes for you to write?

WR: For me, it was anything that involved fashion and accessories. I’m clueless about that stuff. I mean, I knew the name Louboutins, but had nothing else to work with. Any time I sent a draft off to Katie, I’d have little notes in there like [NEED A REALLY HIGH-FASHION HANDBAG FOR HER TO HAVE].

KS: I do love those notes Willsin leaves for me. And then I have fun “virtual shopping” online for the perfect outfit for Ms. Blakely.  =) The hardest though for me are the scenes between Chloe and Natasha. I always find myself wanting to push her aside so that Master can have his fun. Willsin is excellent at bringing her back and making sure she is very useful though.

How would you rate the sex scenes throughout the series?

WR: They’re integral, since they’re a huge part of Natasha’s therapy. They’re intense, because they reach into the core of who she is. But physically, the only thing Natasha finds scary about them is how much they affect her.

KS: In the first installment, I would say we start off “tame” for the BDSM genre. Nothing too crazy, yet. Much like in the real world, no one jumps in full force, they dip their toes in. Natasha gets more than most in her first session, but she’s certainly not experiencing all that the lifestyle has to offer yet. That’s what the other two books will touch on. Of course, when I say tame, I am not talking plain vanilla sex, we do have some fun.

Are there any of these in your books?  (Hands one of the toy boxes on the right which is filled with sex toys, whips, body creams, lotions, lubs…and whatever else you can imagine J)

WR: Oh, some of these essential oils are there. And this paddle here? It’s a lot like the one Master uses. Except his is covered in black leather.
KS: Willsin, quit hogging the box. I want to see!

Do you see yourself writing anymore stories in this series or a spin-off?

WR: This is actually Book 1 in a three book series. But we don’t anticipate taking it beyond those three books at this point.

KS: Occupational Therapy is set to release November 16th, and Immersion Therapy will release at the end of November.

Are any of your characters reflective of you?

WR: Certainly I have elements of Natasha within me. The need to control situations around me is strong. Perhaps I could benefit from some Submission Therapy myself.

KS: I too relate more with Natasha than anyone else. There is that need to control everything around you and the stress it creates within your body. That’s where I think we all can relate on some level. If only we had Master Sweet to teach us, right?

Tell us about some up and coming books.

WR: First and foremost, we have the second and third books in this series. Currently titled “Occupational Therapy” and “Immersion Therapy”, they’ll both be coming out over the course of November. Three books in a month!

Where can we find you for future updates? (add all your social links here)

KS:

I’m so happy you have made this a stop.  Would you like a tour of the…err…levels?  J I can introduce you to the “guests”, if you just hand me that box back.

WR: Box? I don’t recall any LOOK OVER THERE! SOMETHING SHINY! No, no box at all...honest.
KS: Hmph! I didn’t get to play with the box.
Let’s get you suited up:
Wine, mixed drink, or straight up? WR: Bourbon and cola.
KS Have any Vodka?

Leather straps or chains? WR: Leather straps. They retain heat but don’t conduct it!
KS: Leather for me, please.

Cat-o-nine, braided leather, or chain length whip? WR: Braided leather, for the detail work only, of course.
KS: Oh, the Cat-O-Nine, please.
Collar and Leash or Adornment? WR: Oh, a collar and leash is just fine, thanks.
KS: I’m not a fan of the leash, but some Adornments might be pretty.

Leather studded bodysuit or corset top? WR: Um...I don’t really have the boobs for a corset top, so I’ll go the bodysuit.
KS: I do love a nice tight corset.

Fishnets or garter-belt? WR: Garter belt...but they both taste lovely as I rip them off with my teeth.
KS: Garter-belt, please. I was never a fan of fishnets.

Leather pants, mini, or a long skirt slitted up both sides? WR: Pants for me. I don’t want to wax my legs.
KS: long skirt!

Lace up boots or high heels? WR: Boots.
KS: Oh yea, a nice pair of F**k Me boots!

Ball gag, manacles, or blindfold? WR: Mmm...another tough one. I suppose the blindfold.
KS: I’ll go for the manacles.
The rack or the whipping post? WR: Whipping post. It somehow feels more personal.
KS: That’s a toughie. I can’t decide.

Candle wax or clamps? WR: Candle wax.
KS: let me try those clamps.

Blonde, red-head, or Brunette? WR: Brunette
KS: Red-head.

LOL...As you can see they have a wicked and playful sense of humor ..Now lets take a look at the newest book in the series:  Occupational Theraphy!
BLURB:

Write a 300 word (or less) blurb that focuses on the main characters and the plot conflict. This isn’t a plot summary. It’s a sales synopsis. Think sizzle. If you read it, would YOU buy the book?

Natasha’s experience at the hands of Master Sweet has left her both drained and enlightened. Wanting nothing more than to curl up against him for as long as she can, she is dismayed when he sends her home to dwell on all she’s learned.
But being a creature of habit, Natasha’s stubborn and rebellious nature leads her back into her old patterns, threatening to undo all her progress. When her symptoms return in full force, she begins to doubt not only the effectiveness of Submission Therapy, but also the motivations of her Master.
Learning of her disobedience, Master Sweet brings forward Natasha’s next session. But recognizing her behavior for what it is - a cry for attention - leads Him to change His approach dramatically. If Natasha thought her first lesson was hard...she’s in for a real eye-opener.
Does the embattled billionaire have the internal strength to earn back her Master’s trust? And how will she handle it when his intentions suddenly become even more serious?

Now write a 200 character (that’s letters and spaces, not words) blurb for your book. This should be a reduction of the longer blurb, and state the hero, heroine, and central conflict in a single sentence.

Master Sweet’s discipline leaves Natasha feeling enlightened. But old habits die hard, and she soon doubts everything about Submission Therapy. And that’s when the real test begins.

KEYWORDS: Please give keywords for your book. Do not repeat words. Keep it under 250 characters (that’s letters and spaces, not words)

WARNINGS: Please include any warnings applicable to your book. (i.e. This story contains graphic language, m/m sex and a description of a rape.)

This title contains graphic language, sexual situations, bondage, discipline, toys, and more billionaire shenanigans

ENDING: Please tell us whether your book ends HEA (happily ever after), HFN (happy for now) or ? (ambiguous/unhappy ending).

EXCERPT:

I heard her walking away for a moment. When Chloe returned she pushed my feet wide apart. She clamped something around my right ankle, then my left. I risked a glance down between my legs and was surprised to see padded cuffs connected to a three-foot steel bar. I shivered as Chloe secured the rope to an eyelet in the center of the bar.
No matter how much I tried to squeeze, I couldn’t bring my knees together. My most tender parts were not just on display; they were completely vulnerable. If it was Master back there I didn’t think I’d mind at all. But of course, it wasn’t.
“Raise your face. Look at me,” Master commanded.
He sat on the edge of the bed, His crotch swollen so much that it was impossible to focus on anything else. It was right there, only inches from my face...but completely inaccessible to me.
“You like what you see.” He mocked me with His taunting tone.
Hell, yeah, I did. I flicked my eyes up to catch His for a second. He held my gaze with those penetrating blue eyes, but reached His hand out towards Chloe, who scurried over to take it. She kissed it, placed it on the back of her neck...and started unfastening His leather pants!
I ground my mouth around the smoothness of the ball gag. The red-headed minx was touching my Master! My body trembled with anger, the way it did when assholes tried to fuck me over in the boardroom. But at least in business I could speak. Here I was mute. Because He willed it.
Why? Why wouldn’t He put me over His knee again? Why, when He knew how wet it made me, how sweet it would be when He drove His cock inside me?
Chloe finished stripping Master and walked back past me. He sat back on the edge of the bed, His cock at half-mast, pulsing with every beat of His heart.
A Little More about the authors:
Willsin Rowe falls in love with a scent, a playful expression or an act of casual intimacy more easily than with physical beauty. When confronted by any combination of those elements he is a lost cause. He has done many things over and over, done even more things only once, and half-done more things than he cares to admit. He loves to sing and doesn’t let his voice get in the way. He is intelligent but not sensible. He is passionate but fearful. He is not scruffy enough or stylish enough to be cool.

Hunger
Christmas time in Brisbane is always so hot and muggy you could drink it from a bowl.
Brett Freeman feels the heat like anyone, but for more than 15 years it’s been nothing to do with the climate and everything to do with Corinne. Only one thing stands between Brett and his perfect woman: her husband, Darren.
Despite that stumbling block, Darren and Corinne consider Brett their best friend. They’ve watched in despair as he’s tossed away good relationships simply because, in his mind, no woman could ever compare to Corinne.
Then, one muggy Christmas Eve, a friendly visit takes a bizarre turn. Secrets are shared, an incredible present is offered, and for Brett, life will be changed forever.
Every beginning comes from an ending.

The Three Day Hump
Luther has a solid career as a lawyer and is married to a famous lingerie model. His life has grown comfortable, and he can’t remember how it felt to truly want something…anything.
Opal is young, debatably single, and has lived a life poor in everything but experience. She exudes a lush darkness and it draws Luther to her.
He suddenly remembers desire.
Their flirting turns physical; lust turns to obsession, obsession to addiction. They can’t see a future, but they can think of nothing but the present. They don’t know how to stop, they only know they need to.
An urban myth tells that three days of abstinence will break the back of an addiction. They hole up together in a hotel for a long weekend.
Naked.
Can their addiction be beaten? Maybe. But first, they need to make it over the three-day hump.

This is a great series.  Occupational Therapy is book 2 and you need to read these in order.  A lot of exciting things happen in this book.  Natasha actually starts to understand what her Master is trying to show her.  Sometimes it takes extreme forms of therapy to heal, and in Natasha's case it would seem so.  You follow along her progress and failures and see as dawning finally comes over her.  But did her Master move too soon?  What he offers Natasha maybe more than she can handle.  I really am anticipating the next book.  Not only is this series page-turning, but also extremely erotic.  I eagerly await the conclusion and the address where I can get a Master like this!!!
