Nowhere Arizona: The Sunset Warrior By Leanore Elliot

So we have an updated cover, to go with this yummy delightful book!!  Which one do you like?

Old

First Try
New

I am so digging the new!!  The cover really does fall into place with the story!  How you dare ask?  LOL...I will give you some hints but to find out this great secret, you need to read it!!  Let's take a look at the book details:

For the first time in her orderly life, Maddy Sayers is lost. She is lost in Nowhere, but does she really want to go back to find that world of everything? Madeline knew where she was going in life, reaching up the ladder for everything that money allowed. She faced the most powerful men in the world of business everyday with no fear and no hesitation. Suddenly she finds herself in Nowhere, where everything...? Means nothing at all.

Out of the desert mirages appears Devon, he is everything that Madeline fears, and everything that she wants. He sets out to seduce her into feeling alive. Her world is shaken when he takes her on a journey filled with splendid color and heated seduction. Can she really live for nothing in order to gain everything? Can she see herself through the eyes of a Sunset Warrior?

My Review

Maddy is my kind of girl!!  Focused and disciplined, she could close a deal in the blink of an eye!!  Raised by an artist, Maddy turned her back on that lifestyle to instead focus on ways to keep her in the best that money has to offer.  She has buried every single emotion that she has dubbed as weak, and focused instead on rising to the top in her chosen profession.  What she doesn't count on is being turned inside out by one man...at least she thinks he's a man.

Dev had been waiting for Maddy for so long, he almost had given up hope that she would come.  But nothing would deny him what was his, not even the layers of ice Maddy had wrapped her heart in soul in.  Through his fire and taming, a new woman would be born.  But could he remain whole long enough to finish claiming her?

This is Maddy's story.  This is her journey not only to find herself, but to discover what life is all about.  Without color and beauty, the world would be such a desolate place.  But until her eyes are truly opened, she does not notice all that she is missing.  I really connected with her character.  Life has a way of making us hard and afraid to show anyone any emotion that may be used against them later as a weakness.  Because of her chosen profession, Maddy had no choice but to lose all feeling or she would set herself up for failure.  Life isn't all about winning, and somethings you do win weren't really worth the battle and effort.  Sometimes it takes walking outside of all of your comfort zones to truly be happy.  LOL...Maddy found that out through some amazingly erotic moments when her gentle warrior turned into something else completely.  It seems you cant live that long without developing different personalities.  Which was good for Maddy.  She couldn't put Dev in one certain box and slap him with a nice label.  But will she be enough to hold him to earth?  I really enjoy Leanore's work.  She has a way of writing that would make somewhere like Nowhere sound erotic and exciting!! I can't wait for the next addition!!
