Happy Monday Everyone..lol! I know, happy and Monday don't belong in the same sentence. Here with me today is Lacey. Lacey writes a little bit of everything but has recently come to the conclusion she is a well rounded romance writer, and I have to agree. Let's take a look at what she has to say:
Erotic Romance Author
to Non-Erotic
I feel like I officially became a romance author. I’m no
longer just an erotic romance author. I wrote a sweeter story, one that my
family can read and not blush. As an author, I was nervous about this. And I
still am. Is it okay to write sweet romance and spicy romance under the same
name? I sure hope so!
Finding Home is my
first sweet story. And the story line is just that, a sweet and heartwarming
story. My heroine, Julie, has returned home after her boyfriend dumps her. You
see, she has become pregnant and he has no interest in being a daddy. So her
options were, have an abortion or leave. Julie leaves and returns home to her
hometown of Clearwater, Wyoming to seek the guidance of her mom. But here is
where it gets good. She doesn’t find her mom, she find a hot and hunky
half-naked man instead. And then to make matters even more sizzling, a blizzard
hits and they are locked in together.
There is a lot to both these characters. They each have a
secret they want to hide from one another, but once they share, they are
secrets that will help them bond. I’m hoping readers will still find plenty of
chemistry between Mark and Julie and eventually they hit the sheets in a sweet
way, but the details are vague. Which let me tell you, was rather difficult as
an erotic romance writer. I’m used to writing each and every dirty detail from
smell, to taste, to just how that person is feeling. I had to take a step back,
re-read the scenes, and make sure they were detailed enough to leave the reader
satisfied, but still considered non-erotic. I’m hoping I did just that.
I am already working on my next clean story with a story
line that would leave you wondering just how clean it can get. In case you
curious, this story will also take place in Clearwater and the heroine is
opening an adult store. The town sheriff isn’t thrilled and wants to make her
leave, however, he is drawn to her like a magnet. To stay up to date, be sure

Finding Home
Julie Miller has returned to her home in
Clearwater, Wyoming after discovering she is pregnant. All she wants is her
mother to comfort her after her boyfriend told her to either have an abortion
or leave. The only problem is, when she gets to her mother’s house, she doesn’t
find her mom—she finds a half-naked man cooking breakfast.
Mark Thomas has moved to Clearwater to escape his past. He needs a fresh start to try and forget the things that haunt him, and Clearwater seems like the perfect place.
As if it isn’t bad enough that Julie doesn’t find her mother, a blizzard buries the town, and she is snowed in with Mark. Leaving them no choice, they begin a friendship while trying to resist the attraction they feel for one another.
Once the snow melts, Julie is free to leave. Will she choose to start a life in Clearwater or run back to New York? Meanwhile, Mark struggles to let go of his past and, if he does, is Julie his future?

ahh, I really don't have a favorite romance. I love all kinds of romance. I guess you can say it depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I'll crave paranormal, and sometimes not. Thanks for the giveaway :)

I like the premise of your story. Best wishes on your release - whether it be erotic or sweet. And I think an author can write both under the same name.

I don't have a favorite. I love them all, from the paranormal where anything can happen, to historical where I usually can learn something everytime, to everything in between.

I have loved ALL the stories I have read by Lacey! I am really looking forward to her BDSM story! I really enjoyed Amber's Muse! Sexy Librarians do it for me! =)

Oh! And if I am going to read clean romance, it would have to be Historical! I'm a sucker for historical reads!
Thank you for all the sweet comments! And thank you Nikki for having me on to kick off my tour. :)
Sounds great! Love the sound of this book! My favorite type of romance is paranormal. :)
I love all types of romances...I seem to go through phases when I read. A whole bunch of paranormal, then a highlander kick, then contemporary repeat.

I love all types of romance but Lora Leigh and Sherri L. King (as well as a few others)really got me hooked on paranormals. There is so much imagination that is used to create these characters since they do not exist (or do they).

My favorite romance would have to be the romance from Nora Roberts...It was my first romantic read and now I love every book she writes, but I also love me some Paranormal romance :)
I like everything, and with some comedy thrown, even better.
I like paranormal romance, but I really love historical romance. It's just something about going back in time that does it for me.
I do not have a preference with one exception. I haven't been able to read horror romances yet.
This story sounds cute and I'd love to read it.
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
I don't have a favorite. I just like them hot
I usually turn to a good paranormal romance first...I find them and the world they live in sexy, exciting and dangerous. But..to tell the truth...I really pretty much like ALL romance...even some YA stuff.
