I met Nikki online last September when I was first starting to promote my novella Grey’s Lady and I was spending my days searching for 18 & over blogs. She was one of the first book bloggers that I approached on my own. I asked her for a review and guest post and she accommodated me in a very timely manner.

Nikki has wonderful enthusiasm for all aspects of book blogging. She’s a very creative person who is always happy to help with promotion and to make it fun. I am looking forward to our upcoming naughty blog hops this fall as well as some promotional spots she has scheduled for me this summer.

What an honor to help CEWTNK celebrate one year in the blogosphere! I've loved being a guest here and Nikki has been professional as well as fabulous, sharing reviews and exerpts and connecting me with her wonderful readers. Nikki and her CEWTNK readers have always been enthusiastic, inspiring, and oh-so-helpful. When I was stuck, she helped me title Shadows to Light and most recently we all had a blast as CEWTNK readers named a character for one of my upcoming novels. (They named him so well actually, that I'm planning a spin off series just for him). Happy Blogiversary and here's to many more years of great book blogging ahead!

I consider myself very fortunate to have found this awesome, high energy lady. I ran into her site several time with different Blog Hops we were in together. After a while I got curious and checked out her blog and fell in love with it. As soon as I had a new release coming out I contacted her thinking it would be months before I heard from her.

No way, I heard from her only hours after I emailed her my request. Professional, honest and enthusiastic are the two words that come to mind when I think of Nikki and in a profession where rejection is the norm she makes you feel worthwhile. I have given her blog out to many of my fellow authors knowing they couldn’t be in better hands.

Nikki- you’re running a fantastic blog. The reviews are thoughtful and professional and the interviews are always entertaining. I’ve enjoyed popping by the blog to learn about new books and authors. Not to mention Man Candy Monday makes getting out of bed to start the workweek worth it!

I love the Close Encounters of the Night Kind blog.  I first became acquainted with Nikki and the blog during a blog tour for my novella, The Birches.  Which, by the way, is not paranormal in any way…except maybe in that I have a paranormal love affair with culinary pursuits…I know it’s a reach, but Nikki kindly hosted and reviewed the piece even though it wasn’t necessarily a paranormal story.  My relationship continued with the blog through other tours, reviews, contests, and guest posts.  If you write in this genre or any genre, you know how difficult coordinating any and all of the previously mentioned items can be.  Nikki always communicated quickly, efficiently and most importantly, kindly, to every, and all of my emails and this makes a busy writer very happy.  It has been my pleasure to work with Nikki and the Close Encounters of the Night Kind Blog and I hope to continue working with her in the future!  Xxooxoxo Xavier Axelson.
