Giveaway and Interview with Tigris Eden and her book BURNED IN SHADOWS

Hello and Welcome to The Dungeon!  I’m so happy to have you here visiting and sharing your newest work.  Don’t mind the noise from the prison… err guests, they get noisy during their… Let me clear a spot so you can have a seat.  Would you like some refreshments before you get started?

A dungeon? How fun!

Tell us a little bit about your book.

Two ferals, one Phoenix, and good sex. And I tie up loose ends from my first book between a wolf, and his human now immortal mate.

There’s a cat fight, that’s actually a wolf fight. A little girl who wants her skittles and isn’t afraid to wolf out for them. And of course the ever brooding Walker (Dietrich) who loves to trash talk. That’s about sums it up. J

What first sparked the series idea?

Maroon 5’s song Secret. Although it was supposed to be a contemporary, but I figured a group of Immortal men, would be so much more interesting.

Who is the character that in your opinion everyone is going to fall in love with?

Right now, I think it’s a tie between Royce, his brother Ronin, and Draven. I’ve had mixed feedback on the three of them.

I have to ask, what are the hardest scenes for you to write?

The sex scenes. It’s getting the mechanics right, the words, and then of course providing the visual to the reader. I spend countless hours on those alone.

How would you rate the sex scenes throughout the series?

Its Erotic, there is a mini scene where a female is tied down. Also another scene with both brothers tying up Belinda. I think it will progress and you will get to see each male in the series take their loving to a limit that pushes the boundaries for that particular male. Everyone tastes run different. So it’s a toss-up.

Are there any of these in your books?  (Hands one of the toy boxes on the right which is filled with sex toys, whips, body creams, lotions, lubes…and whatever else you can imagine J)

Yes there is lube, and toys, and rope. But I don’t get into too much detail on those items but I do give a reader a taste, to the darker tastes that Royce tends to lean towards.

Do you see yourself writing anymore stories in this series or a spin-off?

Yes there are the other men of the Shadow Unit left, and in Gabe’s book which is the next book in the series you will see where the spin-off will go. But it will only be three additional books that is the spin-off. Nothing too lengthy that will take us to book 17. LOL

Are any of your characters reflective of you?

Hmmm, not really, not at this junction of the series, but it could change.

Tell us about some up and coming books.

Well currently I’m finishing up Episode 6 of Romantic Tales: Bedtime Stories. I have a story in there called Red Hawk Mercenary Group. It’s a sci-fi erotic romance. I am also trying my hand at my first official contemporary. And I’m turning The Genesis Project into a full length novel.

Book Two of the Shadow Unit Series
Publication Date: 7/30/13

Royce Zarides has accepted his hand dealt by fate. He's loved and left far too many women. In the bedroom that is. But one kiss from Belinda Raine Ignis was all it took for his eyes to open. Is she really the woman meant for him and his brother Ronin? Or will history only repeat itself? That's the million dollar question he doesn't want to answer.
Ronin does not believe that Belinda is for him and his brother. But one night with her isn't enough. Even when he sees her for who and what she really is, Ronin still has a hard time expressing his emotions where Belinda is concerned, and time is running out now that she's to ascend to the status of Matria of the Phoenix Enclave.
Belinda (Bells) Ignis is good at ignoring men. She's had her share of heartache. Jilted at the altar by her first love, she's sworn all men off for good. Her mother and Matria of her community has other plans in mind, as well as the Zarides brothers. When faced with the heated glances of Ronin and the smooth tongue of Royce, what's a girl to do?
The clock is ticking down for certain members of the Shadow Unit. Draven assumed dead, leaves a sour taste in every ones mouth. Jes' new found abilities make for a great addition to the team. Secrets are uncovered and deals are made that result in a deadly blow to all involved.

There is really not much to say... I love to write, read, and listen to music. My attempt at a music career sadly ended at the Apollo one warm night in May. LOL (Side note: I was not booed just outdone by two munchkins rapping to Biggy Smalls, they were good.
Military brat extraordinaire; have traveled to a lot of interesting places.  This February I will be going over to the other side of the pond where I will spend two weeks in Europe.  I will be in Cambridge, London, Paris, Versailles, Bruges, and hopefully Cardiff.
The very first time I put pen to paper in story fashion (for fun), was in 6th grade.  The story was called, The Case of The Missing Pepperoni. It was a cute mystery where all the ingredients and shop appliances came to life when the store owner closed up for the evening.  See, pretty boring stuff. I always say I'm not the interesting one, but the people around me.
