Happy Hump Day my stalkers! Welcome to day three of the 13 days of S.A. Price. We are going to veer off of the 13 shades series and talk about some of her other books instead. She does various other books that involve demons and rock bands, but this book is one of her shifter series and yes......they shift into snakes. I like that she splits them up into nests and separates the poisonous ones from the constrictors. She created a very unique world we are going to dive into it face first!!
Three cousins. Three women. There is a reason why Eve was so tempted....
"Beyond the Vision of Dreams":
Remy Crane, an unmated were-python, has been having some extremely erotic dreams for the past week about a woman he's sure doesn't exist. Imagine his surprise when he wakes up one morning and finds the woman of his dreams standing just inside the front door of the were-snake compound. He recognizes Chrissy Stanford as his mate, albeit instinctually only, and decides he needs to have her in his bed. Little does he know she's going to become part of his heart as well.
"Surrender in Moonlight":
Reece Evans, the nest bad boy and only male anaconda in the NY nest, is not looking for a mate, but he is looking for a wild ride. When he goes to Dry Ice one night, he meets Carmen, a viper and a rogue, and the attraction is beyond hot. When she steals his motorcycle from under his nose and then calls him to bail her out, Reece sees his opportunity for a very satisfying tryst still within his grasp. He agrees, on the condition that she stay with him for a month, and be his sexy plaything. Little does he know he's sealed his fate; Carmen is exactly the snake he never knew he couldn't live without.
"A Gift of Daybreak":
When Andy Derelle went to Las Vegas to enjoy a wedding, he never thought he would be propositioned by one of the most notorious nests in the country to audition its female members for a possible mate. But there he was, with six females to choose from, females that were coveted by their own territory's men.
Fajer Copeland, the only non-venomous snake of the southwestern nest, and their most sought-after beauty, is not looking for a mate, and is fine with being alone...until the night Andy shows up in her bedroom doorway.
Authors' note: These books were released separately before and are bundled together. Were-snakes are sssexy.... Let us prove it to you.
They proved it! My favorite story was actually Remys'. He was my kind of dirty and I loved the fact he had no clue if he was dreaming or it was really happening. Can you imagine a guy wanting you that much he thought it was only possible in his dreams?
Reece was the nest bad boy with a huge chip on his shoulder. He comes strumming up to his favorite bar expecting a wild night and ended up with a rogue snake...that robbed him!! That was awesome!!
The baby of the nest gets cornered into visiting the poisonous nest and even though he has no plans to find a mate, is intrigued enough to look. What that house has in store for him shocks into more than he could bite off.
I liked the little intros into this story, it made me want to read more. A lot of people are hesitant because it's a snake shifter..but this author made these books fun. She played on their natural tendencies and took away the weariness that comes from the simple fact that snakes aren't most people's cup of tea. Hell.. I would definitely be all about these babies!! Great read!!
