I'm not picky. I like most mythology if it doesn't get too bloodthirsty.

Thanks for the chance to enter this great giveaway hop (making sure to get that out first so I don't forget my manners later). I've been waiting to hop along with this one since I first saw the sign ups when they first popped up. I've had it saved in my favorites. I love myths and legends.

There are so many great mythology based books out there that it is really hard to pick just one. I recently just read Everneath and that was really good with that cool myth base to it. To get one that was really based much more on the gods and goddesses of mythology Oh.My.Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs was really rather funny and a nice light read. I really like the textbook types of books that give variations on the different myths from different cultures. There are more books that I love, but I can't recall a single one right now! It's too hot I think!

Thank you again and have a wonderful day everyone.

There are so many to choose from, myths and legends always make for great stories since there are so many to choose from.

For romance the Dark-Hunter series from Sherrilyn Kenyon was great. For a darker twist the Nightside Series from Simon R. Green.

One of the cool things about the Merovingians (the people that preceded Charles Martel and his son Charlemagne) is that they integrated their gods into their genealogy, blurring the lines between history and mythology.
