Giveaway and Review of Blind to Men by Chris Lange

Hello and welcome to this stop on Chris Lange's tour!!  I am pleased to not only share my thoughts on this cute short story, but also give you a chance to win your own copy!!  Let's take a look at the book details:

The day has come for Anya to reclaim her life. Protected by an Amazon, she must go to legendary Palance, the city of her dreams. She has to leave her home without even knowing she was cursed at birth. She is blind to men. She can’t see them, and they can’t see her. Except one.

My Review:

When I first read the title I was really intrigued.  Blind to Men?  LOL..well isn't that an interesting concept?  And every mother's with a daughter fondest wish!! Anya had been raised in a secluded part of the world by her mother.  Anya is special.  She has blindness spells and sometimes goes temporarily deaf.  It comes and goes and a lot of times it is in the middle of a sentence when someone is speaking to her.  And then her life is abruptly changed when a strange visitor comes to collect her.  This visitor is hands down the ugliest and hairiest woman Anya has ever seen.  Her mother wants her to go with this woman to Palance, a place where she has always dreamed of going.  But will this woman be able to protect her on the journey?

The concept of this book was awesome.  I mean seriously, she couldn't hear any conversation that leaned towards masculine words like his or him or even man or men.  She also couldn't see any men.  She only saw women.  Which was absolutely hilarious.  She is attacked but what she assumes is death because she can't see anyone.  She is chased constantly by a pack of wild horses with no riders, and watches her  Amazon woman battle with unseen forces on the long trip to Palance.  This was a really cute, funny, and surprisingly steamy read.  It doesn't lack at all in the entertainment category and allows you to see just how difficult it is to be blind to one sex.  LOL..Great concept Chris!!  I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!

So how can you get a copy of this book?  Just fill out the rafflecopter!!  Good Luck!! And be sure to follow along the rest of the tour!!!

WOW!! I just love the concept of this story. I keep seeing some great reviews. Gotta get my hands on this one!

What would I want to be blind to? The dust bunnies that keep multiplying in my house. Then I wouldn't have this compulsive need to shoo them out all the time.

Very interesting concept to have as a book or a person. I wish I was blind to people who don't use their blinkers while driving. I naturally have a blindness to dusting, and cleaning the fridge that it is amazing my house at least appears clean...

Nikki, thanks for this great review, I'm happy you enjoyed my story so much.
Ladies, I'm also kind of blind to dust bunnies, but strangely enough I'm not blind to MEN. :-)

This book sounds totally intriguing. Great concept and review. Can't wait to read it.
I'm not blind to men, but I wish I was blind to a dirty bathroom. It would make life so much easier.

This is really a unique concept!
I'm really interested!

I wish I'm with numbers. I hate them like burning, well math actually, but yeah...

A most interesting concept for a story. I sure wouldn't want to be so afflicted tho. Talk about missing out!

I wish I were blind to meat. I'm a vegetarian & sometimes the sight n smell can be quite unpleasant.

Sounds great! Congrats to you! :) I wish i was blind to so many things. But one i wish i was blind to is hateful people. I could go just one day without hearing or seeing stupid things.

I wish you could all win, unfortunately that's not the rule of the game :)
As for hate and ignorance, maybe that's why we read and write.
Good luck!!!

What a bizarre idea! I'm intrigued! Think I'll have to check this one out! Don't think I'd like to be blind to anything. I'd rather know more than less!

What a cool concept for a story. Yup - others have said it, but it's true! Also- the first thing that came into my mind was that I want to be blind to judgemental and negative-minded people.

This story sounds very funny and original. I would love to read it. Hmmm I would like to be blind to people's gross habits. Whenever they would start doing something gross I wouldn't have to see it. LOL!

I would like to be blind to couple's engaging in intense PDA's because I think that kind of stuff should not be made public. If people want to suck each other's faces off, they should do so in private.

This book sounds great and unusual! Thanks for the chance to win a copy:)
